Yuo's smile remained. "Well of course I do." Yuo said. "I love when I hear you say things no one else would." he said. "Haruka, I'm about 99.99 percent sure that you're the only girl who'd say that." he said. "And I love you for it."

She flushed. "Are you certain no other girl would say that?" she mumbled, feeling like maybe she really was just as strange and weird as she had always thought. She looked back down. "I always thought that it was just the way things were supposed to be like..." she said quietly. "The joy of first love and all that..."

"You name one girl, who'd love a monster, and feel safe and wanted in the arms of a monster?" Yuo asked, refering to the fact that literally no girl wanted to set foot near him. "If you can name one girl, besides yourself, and not including my family, that loves me. I'll carry you to Konoha on our way back."

She quickly nudged him in the side with her elbow lightly. "You're not a monster." she said sternly, her face serious again as she looked up at him. "I told you that before we were ever... a couple." she shook her head. "But... i suppose you're right in that sense. No one beside me, and your family, love you the way we do." she snuggled back into his chest. "But not even your family loves you as much as i do."

Yuo smiled. "Then you must love me very, very, very, very, very, very, very much!" Yuo laughed. "Because my family loves me a lot." he said. He pulled her up closer, so her head was on his shoulder, his arms still around her.

She sighed, not laughing along with him. "Either you're making fun of me or you actually are starting to get just how much it is that i love you." she mumbled softly. He had never really seemed able to understand how she felt. He knew she loved him, but that seemed to be it.

"I'm not making fun of you, Haruka." Yuo said. "I will never understand how much you love me. I've got an idea now, but Haruka, I'll never understand really how much." Yuo said. "Just like you'll never understand how much I love you." he said.

she swallowed. "You've never even tried to explain it to me, so no..." she said quietly, feeling slightly saddened by this fact. She took a breath to steady herself. 'I doubt it's as much as i love you though... much less.' she thought to herself, still cringing against his chest.

Yuo kept his arms around her, rubbing her back lightly. "Haruka, if I tried to explain it, you'd think I was lying." Yuo said. "You've changed pretty much everything Haruka. My outlook on life before I met you was much much different than it is now." he said. "You pretty much took me, tossed me around, and completely changed me." he said. "And I..."

She looked up at him. It seemed he was trying to explain, which made her feel a bit better. She stared at him for a long moment, trying to understand. When he trailed off, she finally spoke. "You... what?" she asked quietly, looking into his eyes as she spoke. "Yuo, i'll pretty much always believe you..."

"And I don't know where I'd be without you." Yuo said, looking back into her blue-green eyes. "I'd probably be in the bottom of a coffin down in the damp earth without you." Yuo said, his eyes closing temporarily, and then opening again. "I don't know where I'd be...or even if I'd be alive without you."

Once he was finished speaking Haruka couldn't hold back anymore. She pressed her lips feverishly to his, kissing him lovingly for a few moments before she pulled back to look at him, remaing not even an inch fom his face. "I love you, too, Yuo." she told him, sighing slightly.

Yuo's eyes closed and he laid his forehead to hers, his nose touching hers. His eyes opened and a couple tears dripped down. "Haruka...I love you more than anything." his arms wrapped around her and he was smiling brightly at her. "I love you more than anything in this entire world!"

Her face fell slightly. That was one that that wasn't true. "Except your family." she mumbled slightly. That was the one thing he loved more, and more than likely that he ever would. This was different in her case, mostly because she didn't really have a family, not like Yuo did.

"I love you, the same amount I do my family." Yuo said, taking her face in his hands. "And don't you ever think otherwise." Yuo said sternly. "I love my family very very very very much, and you're right up in there with them." he said. "Haruka, you pretty much are a part of my family."
