[Ichi Kasuke]

Riuichi was roaming around the village, he had nothing better to do. For some odd reason, today he was remembering a lot of things in the past.
"I hope I can pass the Chuunin Exams this year and not have to do it again!" Riuichi said happily. "Then hopefully you don't have to fight me." Ichi said and laughed. Riuichi turned and saw Ichi. "I'm Riuichi Kamanashi." He said. "I'm Ichi Kasuke." He said. They shook hands.
"Haha, I remember ever since then we were friends..." Riuichi said to himself. This was the first day that he's ever remembered this many things.

Miki wondered around the village. She couldn't say that everything was familiar. Although this was where she was born and raised, she only came to visit occasionally now.

She moved to Konoha. Her main reason was to get away from her parents. She'd dealt with them and their self-esteem lowering for too many years. As soon as she was settled in Konoha, her reason became the simple fact that all her friends were there.

Still, there were times when she couldn't help, but to feel a little homesick and then come visit home. Today would count as one of those days.

She looked around looking for any new faces, but realized she didn't recognize any of the faces.

She escaped the moving crowd and stood, leaning against a wall. Sure, now she wasn't homesick anymore, but she'd rather not visit her "loving" parents. Seeing as she wasn't familiar with her childhood home anymore, she could simply say she was bored.

She gave a small sigh as she lifted her head to stare thoughtfully as the bright sky.

Riuichi saw Miki in the distance. He knew it was a new face, he knew everyone in this whole village. He's been born and raised here. Until his parents were murdered, of course. He kept walking, ignoring Miki since she wasn't close to him. "She doesn't seem like she's from this village." He thought. When he got closer, he looked at her. He took out a shuriken and started spinning it with his index finger. "Hi." He said when he passed Miki. "Jeez, I shouldn't have done that..." He mumbled to himself.

Miki was surprised by the sudden greeting, she looked forward, only to see a boy passing by her. She blurted, "U-uh, hi!"
Maybe she would've blushed, but the shuriken spinning in his fingers caught the glare from the sun and her attention. She tensed, and unfortunately didn't hear his mumble.

Usually, a weapon meant a future attack. Just to be ready, she focused some chakra into her legs, ready to run if he attacked.

She stopped a second to think carefully. Surely, he wouldn't attack someone in public, right? She relaxed slightly, but she stayed aware of the shuriken's location. Meanwhile, she stayed smiling at the boy's face.

'U-uh, hi!' Riuichi heard Miki say. He sensed chakra so he put the shuriken away. "I don't want to get in a fight." He thought calmly. He stopped walking and turned around to see Miki. She saw her smiling, he didn't expect that. "Hi..." He said again. He didn't know what else to say, he wasn't good at starting conversations. Especially with girls. "Yeah she's a person I've never met before..." He thought. He usually never met new people in his village, so this was new to him.

When Miki saw the shuriken disappear into the boy's pocket, she allowed her chakra to fade away.

"So...are you new in Suna?", Miki asked. She was surprised that she talked as if she was familiar with the village. Sure, she was spent thirteen years here, starting from the day she was born, but a lot could change in about two to three years, right?

She felt the oh-so familiar blush slowly crawl upon her cheeks and she took a look at his face. A bit annoyed, she thought to herself, 'Who ever said old habits die hard?' She was referring to her habit of blushing around any guy.

It didn't matter what the guy was like. As long as he wasn't too old or too young, she would blush.

"No, I'm not new to this village." Riuichi responded. "I've been here my whole life." Seventeen years he's been here. Seventeen! It didn't seem that long for him though, days flew by like minutes to him. He noticed Miki blushing and had a small smile on his face. He blinked and got out of looking at her. "Jeez I have to stop doing that!" He yelled at himself in his thoughts. He always had one bad habit that would turn up when he's talking to someone. He dispised his bad habits, since they never would go away.

[Kira]

Miki smiled sheepishly as she replied, "So you've been here longer than me! I was born here and was raised here for thirteen years, but I moved to Konoha. I've been there for about three years now..."

She hoped he wouldn't notice her blushing. That, or at least he wouldn't get the wrong idea because of her blushing. Maybe she couldn't blame anyone, but she'd been in some bad decisions because of her habit. Depending on who it was, some guys thought she liked them and approached her. others thought she was weird.
Either way, if her habit was a living person, she would kill it and make sure no one ever found its corpse.
Sure, maybe that was a bit dramatic...maybe even a bit too out of character for her. To put it simply, she was a simply, shy, awkward girl. Still, wasn't it normal for people to want to kill bad habits?

Hoping to continue the conversation in some way, she smiled again, "It's nice to meet you! My name's Mizuki, but everyone calls me, Miki!"

"Yeah, I've been here for seventeen years..." Riuichi said. He hoped that she wouldn't wonder why he has stayed here his whole life. "I'm Riuichi and its nice to meet you too." He said and smiled. He did notice Miki blushing, but he didn't know the reason why. "Her blushing has to be a habit, since I really don't think she likes me. Plus, some people don't belive in 'love at first sight'." He thought. He wasn't trying to jump into conclusions, he usually never does that.

Miki did wonder why Riuichi stayed here his whole life, but didn't bother to ask. She knew it was none of her business and didn't want to seem nosy. She pondered over what to ask next for a few seconds, before her mind roamed back to her original thoughts.

"Oh! How much has Suna changed in the past few years?" she asked, not sure if the question seemed idiotic or not. All she knew was that she wasn't in Suna for a few years and suddenly, it seemed like everything changed. She wasn't sure if it was simply because she hadn't been in her hometown for so long, or maybe it was because things really did change.
