Numi chuckeld "My first Sensei made me carrey my little sister on my back." she gave a small laugh " Makes you stronger, plus my sisters really loved it." she closed her eyes and thought about her sisters.
"what doo you want to do?" Numi asked sort of all of a suddin. she had lost her train of thought aneyway.

Haruka shrugged. "Beats me... I don't know much about this area." she said honestly, slouching lazily. "Do you live around here, Numi?" she asked hopefully. If she did know the area, she would probably now something to do.
Haruka laughed slightly at the comment of carrying her sister for training. "I'm sure your sister did enjoy that, but you probably got tired of it after a while." she said with a giggle.

"What do i do?" Rei asked; she had to quickly think of a cover story - her sensei would kill her if she were to reveal the truth.
"I'm just your typical Genin; cocky and overconfident!" She laughed.
She tried to imagine the girl carrying her sister on her back and laughed at the random scenes she was imagining in her head.

Numi looked to the sky. "No. I don't live here." Numi turned to her feet "not aney more." she traild off into thought. bringing herself back to the REAL world she found she had sat down on the rock behind her. thinking about contacting her sisters was a happy thought but a sad one all the same. mabey she would go to see them again. what if they had forgoten her? so meny thoughts. they must be left for later.

"oh..." Haruka said softly, realizing she had brought up a painful subject. She looked down at her feet. Numi had probably been thrown out of her village, she guessed. She didn't know at all what that would be like. She didn't know the feeling of being an outcast though.
She smiled, trying to cheer up the mood. "Hey, why don't we have a race?" she suggested.

"A race?" Rei raised an eyebrow; she really wasn't interested in anyones backstory so had zoned out for a while, trying to remember Lenore off by heart.
"What kind of race?" She was intrigued; if she could convince them to bet money, she'd be in because back in her village of the Hidden Time, it was a well known fact not to engage in a challenge with Rei as she knew every scam and cheat in the book.

"Just a race, a run. I don't know the area, so Numi would probably have to set out a course." she said, looking over to her as she sat on the rock again. "Pure speed, no jutsu, no tricks." she explained. She wasn't a very good sprinter. She was more built for endurence and long distance running, but she'd just have to do her best.

" Shure. If I rember where everything is." Numi put her hand to her mouth and closed her eyes. she quickley built a diagram in her head of the area and sheched a root. "In this race, does no gitsues meen we have to be in human state?" she looked back and forth between them.

"Im pretty familiar with here too.....an "acquaintance" if you will comes from here...well, she's from Suna now but she was originally from here!" Rei added,
"I know the land pretty well even though im from the Time village"
"Just a foot race right? No jutsu or anything!" She created a set of rules that were pretty open; she never mentioned cheating or anything
[Numi - what do you mean Human State? That's the only state you can be in! You're not a Demon/Jinchuuriki or anything! Its not allowed!]

"Ummm...." Haruka thought for a moment. "well i suppose it depends. Do you use a jutsu to transfor? If that's it, then no you can't use it." she looked back at Rei realizing that she herself was at quite a disatvantage. they both had a basic layout of the area in there heads. "Well, i suppose you could help with the course to, rei.' she said with a smile.

Rei pondered; sure she cheated and schemed but she liked things to be fair to start off with and Haruka was at a disadvantage; she didn't know the land too well.
"Listen....is there anywhere else we can go where noones at a disadvantage?" She chirrped, "poor ickle Haruka here has no idea of this lands layout so it wouldn't be fair!"

Haruka stuck out her tongue. She hated to have her disadvantages pointed out. But she couldn't argue with the point, "If we do it in town or something, i'm sure i'd be fine." she said, tucking her hands behind her head. She was getting figety, so she ran in place to get a little warmed up.
