Haruka ran back when she heard Yuo crash against the ground. She kneeled dow beside him, looking over his worriedly. "I'm sorry! I'm so sorry!" she quickly said. "Are you ok? Oh, god! I'm sorry i took off like that..." she bit her lip, placing one hand on his shoulder. "Is there anything i can do to help out right now? Do you need something to clean your knees?" all the questions were coming out at once and she was just jabbering like a mindless idiot. "Please tell me if i can do anything at all."

"Woah! Chill out!" Yuo exclaimed. "I'm fine Haruka! A bit scrapped up, and a bruise or two, but it's nothing major!" he said. He stood up, brushing the dirt off of himself and just walking. "How about we just walk? I'd rather not go out nice and clean, and then come back dirty and bloody." he chuckled as he brushed more dirt of out his hair. "You know what I hate more than medication? Dirt." he said. "I hate dirt, it gets in your hair, and that just causes more laundry." he said. "Medication and dirt, the worst things ever."

Haruka could not help but give a slight laugh, along with her sigh of relief. "Gosh, i'm sorry i flipped..." she said, rubbing the back of her head slightly. "I'm getting as bad as you. Don't deny it either; If i had fallen like that you would have been all 'Are you ok!?' 'Did you pinch another nerve!?' Stuff like that." she smirked "And dirts not that bad. I mean, its not that great when you have to clean the clothes afterwards but dirt... is dirt... something you have to live with." she stretched out her hand to help him up. "So, Einstein, think you can keep your balance this time?" she asked.

"Maybe." Yuo said. "IF I don't loose concentration." Yuo chuckled. "And you're right, I probably would've flipped out just like you did. But, I'd have a good reason." he said, crossing his arms, and continuing to walk slowly. "You were stuck under a roof, and pinched a nerve. I got a few cuts on my body." he said. Yuo smiled. Yuo brushed his fingers through his hair. "Dirt is good for flowers, but not people. It just adds to the mess." he said as he looked ahead. Yuo was wondering what was going on back in Konoha.

Haruka briefly rolled her eyes at him, finding his excuse to be completely ridiculous. "One time... you're never going to let me forget it now, are you?" she followed beside him as they walked, as he had started to, down the packed, dirt-pathway. "You know, one thing that probably led to you losing concentration is the fact that you didn't pull your hair back..." she suddenly noticed. This was a good possiblity, considering as she just noticed it was still hanging down around his shoulders. "And dirt is not that bad... It's just a part of life..." she added, trying to give her voice a friendly tone, so they would not start to argue. "Something to deal with. Sure sometimes it's a nusense, but whatever."

Yuo shook his head. "You're forgetting, my hair started getting long around the time I was 10-11." Yuo said. "I never tied my hair back until I left the village and started training. And sometimes I wouldn't be able to find a hair tie when I was tying my hair back, so then I'd end up running with my hair down." he said. He grabbed Haruka's hand quickly and gently. "I was focused on something else." he said. "But let's not argue. Not now, not while we're doing somewhat well, stopping ourselves from arguing."

Haruka gave him an intent look. She was now even more curious about what exactly had thrown him off of balance. "You were focused on... what exactly?" she asked. There was this strange feeling in her stomach that it was her, which was so strange to hear at times. Very flattering, but at the same time, very different from other things. She squeezed on his hand slightly, just to try and enforce that she wanted an answer to her question. As it would end up she would probably bug him till she got this.

Yuo felt his head drop down. "You." he said. "You took off so quickly, and I didn't expect it, so my mind was focused on you, and not paying attention to myself, and I stumbled and fell." he said. "But don't think it's your fault! IT's my fault for loosing my concentration when I should've kept my mind focused on myself." he said. "I just didn't expect you to run off so quickly, something you normally don't do when I run around with you. It was just, much more different." he said, swallowing.

Haruka smiled lightly. "That's fine Yuo... I can't blame myself for you thinking of me." she laughed slightly at the silliness of this idea. "I shouldn't have surprised you though. Sorry. I just felt like showing you how much faster i've gotten... I've been running around alot more since we last ran together." she rubbed back of her head with her free hand, feeling slightly like a fool for just taking off on him. "So, am i any better?" she asked, suddenly curious of this.

Yuo nodded. "You're definitely faster, I know that much." he said. "Are you getting close to a sprint? OR is it the same as before, endurance, but quicker?" he asked. Yuo moved a bit closer to Haruka, tightening his grip a bit more. He hoped that she wouldn't freak out if he wondered about sprinting. "I mean, it would be really cool if you could sprint one day, then I wouldn't have to carry you when you don't want to be carried." he said. "But, I don't mind if you aren't able to sprint, I much prefer walking with you, than running."

Haruka grinned. "I think i'm getting closer to a sprint." she imformed him proudly. "Eventually i might be able to sprint... don't know for sure though. Plus, the hospitals got me on this medication that's helping a bit with the issure of breathing. It helps alot." She tucked on of her loose bangs behind her ear and out of her way. She had completely forgotten at her hair was still pulled back, but she decided it better it was out of her way. "I'm noy quite as fast as you are yet, but i'm working my way there."

Yuo couldn't help but smile. "That's really good." he said. 'Maybe eventually they'll find a cure for Haruka's sickness too. The medication is a good start, now she's making her way to my quick sprint.' he thought. Yuo moved his arm so it was around Haruka's waist. "I can't wait." he said. "I'll be able to know you're right behind me, instead of way behind me." he smiled brightly. "Haruka? Do you think they'll find a cure for your sickness eventually?" he asked, just out of plain curiousity. "I'm just curious."

Haruka shrugged. "I think so. Medical research on the Lukemia, which is actually a cancer of the lymph nodes, has come a long way since i was diagnosed." she said, trying to make it sound as likely as possible. "They think they found a form of radiation that will target and kill off the cancerous cells. But... they don't know if it will work the same on human cells as it has on some of the animal test subjects..." she shrugged, deciding the leave out the possibility of death is it did not work.

Yuo nodded. He pulled Haruka closer so he could kiss her cheek. "I hope it works." he said. "Then there will be no worry of you dying or anything." he said. "You will be able to live as long as life lets you. And then what you said before, about marriage, it'll happen, no doubts." he said. Yuo shook his head quickly. "Ok, I'm going to break down if I don't stop, new topic!" he said, chuckling. "Are you still sore Haruka? Or has the soreness gone away?" he asked, looking at her, his blue eyes happy.

Haruka gave a slight blush, both from the brief kiss on the cheek and the marriage comment. That would be a sealed deal if she were to live till that time came. She could barely keep her happiness to an acceptible smile. She understood his point of a new topic and decided that it was time to go off of his new spin off. "No, I'm fine." she asured him. "My ribs still hurt, but only if i hit them i think. Right now i'm perfectly fine though." she looked down the street, and just like the day before, Riiko was walking towards them. "Oh... great..." she grumbled.
