Yuo blushed. "Well I would've found it amusing if it wasn't here in your house." Yuo said. "I was raised to be polite at a table when I'm a guest in someones house." Yuo said. "And I didn't think having soup splashed in my face was very polite." Yuo looked down. "But I'll go get her." Yuo slipped out the back door and looked at Haruka. "Haruka?" he asked. "Haruka, I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings about not exactly finding the whole soup in face thing funny." he apologized. "Really, I'm very sorry."

Haruhi shrugged. "Well, if you ask me, you're not guests, you're friends..." she said, giving him slight shrug. "You should have at least said something to her--" but he had already walked out, before she could finish her sentence. She shrugged and looked to Shizuke and Yukio. "You two thought it was funny, right?"
Haruka sighed, turning her face away. "Don't appologize. I was the one in wrong... i shouldn't have done it..." she said quietly. "So just save it... you don't owe me any appolgy.."

I stopped giggling and nodded. "Yes." I said. "IT's always funny to see food thrown at Yuo." I said. "I use to throw things at him all the time when I was a baby." I laughed. Yukio nodded. "Yes, it's very amusing." Yukio agreed.
"Haruka!" Yuo exclaimed. "Please Haruka! I didn't mean to get you upset." Yuo said. "I was just embarassed I guess. I was raised to be polite as a guest...and I guess I let that get in the way of a joke." he said. "Please come back in and sit with me, please."

Haruhi laughed. "I used to do that to Ling too... especially with... applesauce, for some reason." she said, "But only when i was younger... i don't do it anymore. Mother scolds me for it." she shrugged.
Haruka looked down lower. "I said stop appologizing." she repeated. "You don't have to... It was my fault, so don't feel bad, ok." she looked back up at him, and gave him a forced smile. "So.. yeah, lets just go back in... I'm finished eating but... she shrugged.

"I don't do it anymore because Yuo get's mad at me for it." I replied. "But my Mother would snicker when I did it before." I giggled.
Yuo took Haruka's hands gently. "Haruka!" he exclaimed. "Come on...I know you're not actually smiling." he said. "Please forgive me. I really didn't mean to make you upset. I let the way I was raised get in the way of a bit of fun. Please Haruka..." Yuo looked down as he wrapped his arms around her. "Haruka...come on..." he said. "I want an actual smile...that or a snort like a pig."

Haruhi nodded. "Those were the days, huh?" she said with a slight sigh. "When you could do just about anything and adults thought it was funny..."
Haruka tried to shake her head again. "You didn't upset me..." she said quietly agains his shoulder. "You just surprised me..." she swallowed. "I'm fine... i just don't feel like smile... can we please just go back inside?" she took a deep breath, finally giving in and hugging him back. "Please... don't snort... anything but that..."

Yuo chuckled. "Either you smile, or I snort like a pig and make you smile." Yuo said, looking at her and smiling brightly. "I will, I swear I will if you don't smile one of your pretty, sweet, real smiles." Yuo said.
Yukio and I both nodded. "Yes...those were the days." I sighed. "The days when there was nothing you had to do. When adults thought everything we did was either cute or funny." I smiled. Yukio nodded. "The days when we all had our parents." she said. "When I had my mother. And when you and Shizuke had a father around."

Haruka bit her lip, a doubtful look on her face. "I don't think i can... i'll bet that even that stupid snort can't get me to laugh right now..." she said in honestly. She felt terrible still. "Can we just go inside, please?" she attempted again.
Haruhi nodded in agreement. "Yeah... back when parents didn't nag at you for everything and when no one had to tell you want you couldn't do..." she smiled. "When i was little, i thought i was invinceable... like i could do anything and nothing would ever get me... because i was indestructable."
