Yuo trotted after Haruka. "Ok then, no need to pull my arm off!" Yuo exclaimed. Of course, he was just kidding. "A clearing where the grass is soft after a storm? That's a first." he said. "The grass in the field back at home is usually soaked and wet after it rains and it's no where near soft." he said.
I smiled at Haruhi and nodded. "Yeah, I'm fine." I said. "I was just sort of peering in Yuo's room from the window, hoping he would notice me so I could get a hug before I went to bed, but I sort of fell instead and hurt my ankle." I said. "Then my ankle gave out this morning and Haruka wrapped it and then she told me to put minimal weight on it and keep ice on it."

Haruka sighed, not wanting to explain this to him, but figuring she might as well, just to feed his curiousity. "Well, the earth around here is extremely absorbant. That's why it's so good for rice farming." she explained briefly. "So, nothing is really super wet around here after a storm." She slowed down slightly for him, keeping her hold on his hand tight.
Haruhi looked at her worriedly. "Do you think you should sit down?" she asked immediantly after Shizuke finished her story. "I'm sure your other leg is getting tired."

"Oh." Yuo replied, keeping close to Haruka. "So tghere's no morning dew or anything? Morning dew is wonderful because you can gbet the drops right from the grass and they sit on your fingers." he said. "They'll sit on your nose too, it's a ton of fun to fool around with the morning dew." he said.
I shook my head. "Might as well strengthen my legs one at a time." I said. "This is good balance too. It'll come in handy when I'm training." I said. "When I get tired I'll sit, but for now I'm fine."

Haruka gave a small giggle at this. "Well of course there's morning dew." she said. "Water will alway stick to grass or leaves. It's just the ground: It absorbs moisture so there are no puddles." She could see the split in the trees which would open up to the clearing. It amazed her that she had remembered the way to it, being as she had not been there in ten years. She pointed. "It should be just through there..." she told him.
Haruhi shrugged. "Whatever you say..." she said figuring that Shizuke could fend for herself. She walked back to her basket and picked it up to go and do her laundry. "Holler if you need anything." she told her.

Yuo walked a little quicker, pulling Haruka along faster too. "Then let's go!" he exclaimed. Yuo couldn't wait to just lie around with Haruka and do nothing with her. He just adored spending time with her. It was one of his favourite activities. "You know Haruka." Yuo said. "I love spending time with you. If I could do one single activity forever and ever, it would be spending time with you." he said.
I nodded and smiled. I limped over to Haruhi and tugged on her gently. "Can I help you with the laundry? I need something to do."

Haruka laughed fully as she tried to quicken her pace to catch back up to him and close the gap between them. "What exactly would be the definition of spending time?" she asked curiously. "Doing nothing or just... anything that involves being with me?" She smirked at this suggestion. His comment had just been so vague and there were a wide range of things that qualified as such.
Haruhi nodded a wide smile appearing on her face. "Of course." she said quickly. "I can always use and extra hand." she began walking again towards the laundry room.

"Anything that has to do with you." Yuo said. "As long as I get to spend time with you, I'm content." he said as he pulled her up closer, giving her a quick kiss on the lips. "I love spending time with you. It's something that just the thought of it makes me smile!" he said. "And trust me, not many activities make me smile!"
I nodded and limped after her, limping in an awkward way. I placed the ice on my ankle for a few seconds before following after Haruhi. "What can I help with?" I asked.

(I'm guessing you ment Yuo, not Yuuhi... lol)
When he kissed her, despite the fact that it was brief, it made her heart temporarily sputter with delight. She wanted so much to just grab him and pull him back, but figured it would make him freak out. "W-well... that makes me glad..." she said once she got control of herself again. They finally entered the clearing, an area that was coated with a thick padding of green. The sky above was a deep, dark blue, like the sea after a rough tidal wave. She smiled.
Haruhi tapped her chin. "Can you help me separate the colores?" she suggested losely. "I'm doing lights right now. I've got a darks, and mediums piles started."

Yuo smiled happily as he looked at the clearing. "Wow, this place is really nice." he said as he looked around, somewhat wide-eyed. Yuo hung on tight to Haruka's hand and pulled Haruka into the clearing. Yuo fell back into the grass and sighed, rolling over onto his stomach and looking at the grass. "I love laying in grass." he said.
I nodded. I sat down, finding it best that I just sit instead of hurt my ankle anymore. I began sorting the colours into piles, being careful that I didn't make any mistakes. I always did laundry at home.

Haruka sat down in front of him, crossing her legs casually underneath herself. "Yeah... it's nice isn't it?" she said, smiling down at him as he laid down on his stomach. She used to not be able to do this, lay and sit in the grass. It made her skin break out, some sort of allergic reaction to something in grass or grass seeds. She began picking boredly at the blades of green in front of her.

Yuo searched for a long and thick black of grass. Once he found the perfect blade of grass he pulled it out and put it between his thumbs. He blew into it and it made a sort of buzzing sound. "Aw, it's not working as well as I hoped it would." he said. "Mother does it ten times better than Shizuke or I can do." he said. Yuo blew again, but it made the same buzzing noise. He gave up on the grass and pulled at smaller ones, tying them together in a long chain. He tied two ends together and put it on Haruka's head.

Haruka laughed as the strange buzzing came from the grass as he blew into it. "i was never able to do that!" she exclaimed with a sigh, a smile still profound on her face. "I always tried to...but i never got it." She shrugged. Surprise suddenly over came her as he set the twisted bits of grass atop her head, like he had done before with the daisies in the meadow. She looked up towrads it, but it was out of her view. "that again..." she murmured.

Yuo smiled and pecked Haruka's lips gently and quickly. "Again." he chuckled. "Except much more plain and simple, instead of all big and wonderful. It's just simple." he said. "And good practice." he added. Yuo pulled out another long blade of grass and crawled so he was behind Haruka. He reached around her from behind, placing the grass inbetween her thumbs and holding it there. He brought the grass and her hands up close to her mouth. "Blow." he said. "Blow like you're going to blow out a candle. You should make some noise at least." he smiled.

She smirked. "I actually prefer it that way..." she said, reaching up to adjust it the loop of grass on top of her head. He suddenly came around her, sweeping up her hands and holding them to her face. She stared at the both of there hands, his enclosing around hers, before she even concepted what he was trying to get her to do. Giving it a try, she blew into the space, making a very like buzzing whistle. The vibration tickled at her lips and she backed away to laugh.

Yuo smiled and chuckled. "And you said you couldn't do it." he said. "Do it again." he said, smiling. Holding the grass up again to her mouth. "It sounded much better than what I did when I first did it!" he said, laughing again. Yuo took his hands away. "Hold it just like that, and you should be able to go it perfectly." he said. Yuo was smiling as he peered over Haruka's shoulder, his chin resting lightly on her shoulder. He sighed lightly. "I love you Haruka. And you're one of the greatest, in the world."
