Yuo groaned again, his head over his knees as he clutched the back of his head again. "Oh god, I think I hit my head to hard." he said, rocking forward and backward slowly. "I'm just dreaming. I'm really passed on the floor with Haruka hovering over me and not telling me that I'm a jerk and she's ok with that." he said. He winced and groaned again. "Wake up now Yuo, wake up. No more dreaming!" he exclaimed. He looked up, just to get a peek at Haruka's face. "I'm dreaming! I know I am!"

Haruka's smile fell as she blinked curiously at him. She retracted her hand. "Well, if you didn't want my help all you had to do was say so..." she mumbled quietly before she kneeled down in front of her. "You're not dreaming though... you didn't hit your head that hard stupid..." she reached out and grabbed one of his hands. "You can't feel in a dream..." she told him, her smiling coming back onto her face. "And i'm certain you can feel that bump on your head and my hand... what do i have to do to prove to you that you're awae?" she added. She was almost sure that her explaination would not be enough to convince him.

Yuo groaned for a third or fourth time. "Thanks a ton Haruka!" he exclaimed, he shut his eyes tighter, but held her hand tightly too. "I didn't need to know I had a bump on my head." he mumbled. "And I'm positive you can feel in a dream." he said, trying to calm down a bit. "I've had dreams where the pain of falling down the stairs is very real." he said. "Very, very real!" he said, a bit louder this time. One hand was still over the back of his head, feeling for the bump. "Oh god."

Haruka sighed, tempted to pull her hand back, as she shook her head, leaning forward slightly on her toes to try and get him to open her eyes. "Well, I thought you would have known you had a bump..." she said quietly. "Please open your eyes..." she asked him kindly. "You're not going to wake up because you're already awake, if that's what you were hoping for..." she smirked. "Yuo... please..." She bit down on her lip. How was she supposed to convince him. Her face was not that far from his now, but she did not move from her possition.

Yuo's eyes opened and he found himself gazing into her eyes. His hand was still on the back of his head, and he could feel the slight bump on his head. He moved over a bit closer to Haruka. "Why a bump? I hate bumps." he said. "They're as bad as medication." he chuckled, smiling a bit. "Now I'm going to have to put ice on my head to keep this bump from getting any bigger." he sighed, quickly kissing Haruka's lips. "Why'd I have to go and hit my head right after we're about to get back on track!?"

Haruka smiled as he finally seemed to believe that he was quite awake. "Oh, don't complain..." she said, teasingly. "A bump is a bump. It's not too bad, really." he was close enough to her that she was able to put her hand on the back of his head lightly, just enough to feel the top of the lump on his head. "No... not at-" he suddenly leaned forward, only for a brief moment to kiss her. She was speechless for a few seconds. "Ice... y-you said you needed ice...?" she asked, trying to keep him off the subject of his injury as best as possible.

Yuo slowly stood up, pulling Haruka up too. "A bit of ice would be greatly appreciated." he said. "My head is throbbing, and the feel of this bump on my head makes me just want to remove it permentantly from my head." he said, chuckling, but still smiling. "Oh I hate getting hurt! Even if it's a bruise or a small cut, or a bump on the head! It sucks, but at least it's better than a broken leg or arm." he sighed as he sat back down on his bed. He laid his chin in his hand.

Haruka nodded. "Try not to worry to much about it." she suggested to her, not sure of what else to say. "Like you said, it's not like you broke an arm or leg." she turned and walked to the door, opening it with a slight creek. "I'll be right back with that ice.." she told him, smiling. With that word, she rushed downstairs to grab an ice pack from the freezer. As soon as she had it, she ran back up, opening the door with it, and a small towel in case it started to melt to much. She sat down opposite him on the bed, holding it out to him. "here you go... hope it helps.." she smiled.

Yuo took the ice and put it on the back of his head. It was cold, but he didn't mind. He moved over so he was closer to Haruka. "Thanks." he said, smiling. "I didn't mean to sound like a jerk to you. I just wanted Riiko gone and out of my hair." he looked away a bit. "I mean, did you hear her? 'It hurts so much!!' " he tried to immitate Riiko's voice. "I mean, well no duh it hurts. A sprained ankle hurts." he sighed, moving the ice a bit. "Any injury worse than a small cut, bruise, or bump hurts."

Haruka shook her head. "Please, don't worry about that too much..." she assured him. "I over reacted... i didn't mean to..." she smiled. "I... well, i think you should have at least just ignored her. The cold shoulder, rather than being rude..." she shrugged. "But... yeah... it was driving me insane honestly... her stupidity in trying to flirt." she laughed once, dryly, without humor. "And it was enfuriating... when you were being... polite... to her..." she bit her tongue. what was she saying. "But, lets just forget about it... please... i think it would just be better to clean the slate..."

Yuo put his free arm around Haruka and leaned his head on her shoulder. "Ok." he said softly, pulling her in a bit closer. "No matter how hard she tries, you're my Haruka-chan, and I'm yours, not hers." he said as he nuzzled her cheek gently. "Now thankfully she won't be able to move as fast with a sprained ankle. It'll be a bit easier to avoid her. As long as she doesn't start asking about my jacket, that I "left" in the woods." he winced slightly and pressed the ice on harder. "Oh god."

Haruka leaned her head over on top of his, pressing her cheek against his hair as she smiled lightly. "Yuo... I know that... but i still can't help but get mad at her for trying to... arg..." she shook her head slightly. "I think her thoughts have pretty much been distracted from that... uh... 'jacket'..." she could not help but smirk. "Probably because she feels guilty because she thought she started a... fight between us..." she shrugged with her shoulder that was free from being rested on by his head. "But... yeah... hopefully she won't bug us too much between now and when we leave." she sighed.

Yuo put the ice down and wrapped both his arms around Haruka, moving his head from it's position on her shoulder. He sat back but pulled her into his arms, holding her against his chest, He sighed and kissed the top of her head. "Haruka, you know I owe you right?" he asked. "I owe you so much, I owe you for everything that you do for me. I owe you for putting up with me the entire time we've been..." Yuo searched for the word, struggling to find the perfect word. He thought for a few minutes or so. "Us." he finally said.

Haruka blinked as he suddenly pulled her up against his chest. It was not quite as comfortable as sitting against the bed, being as his chest was so firm, but it was definetly preferable. Leaning back onto him, she sighed, happily, bringing up her hands and placing them over his, where they laid as he wrapped his arms around her front. "You don't owe me anything..." she said quietly, her mind barely coherent as she let her eyes close slightly. "We're even... i've helped you... you've helped.... so... don't go giving me the 'I owe you' routine..." she smiled.

"I do though!" Yuo exclaimed. "I mean, no one is able to put up with me this much. I'm a jerk, I'm rude, and sometimes I just go and start talking like I'm so great when I'm no greater than anyone else out there." Yuo said. "And, you've put up with that for several months now. You still love me, and, and I'm pretty sure you'll always love me." he said, still holding her close. "I just feel the need to repay you. Do something for you, that'll make you feel even more important than you already do!"
