Yuo held tightly to Haruka's hand. "Thanks Haruhi!" he said happily as he tugged Haruka into the kitchen. He slipped the ice into the freezer and shut the door. "Ok, let's get the blanket and go outside." he said. "And how about we stay a little ways away from here? I mean, so Haruhi doesn't end up watching us, nor Ling." he said. Yuo quickly kissed Haruka's lips before he pulled her gently out of the kitchen. "You can pull out a blanket and we can both pick the spot. How does that sound?" he asked.

Haruka followed, again close behind, Yuo out as they went to the kitchen. "Oh, of course." she said, smiling meekly back up at him. Making sure that they did not have any audience would probably be the smartest thing to do. Make sure they were far enough away. Reaching down to the basket, Haruka pulled out a blanket that she thought would work well enough. It was thick, which would keep them from the dirt and grass under them. "Here. This is good..." she said to herself, tugging again on his hand as she walked towards the door to the back yard.

Yuo followed her, smiling as he did so, and holding her hand tightly. "Haruka, you know I love sitting and cuddling with you." he said, trotting to catch up to her. "It's nice to just sit and relax. Talk, and do really nothing at all. No people bugging us, no one to stare at us. And no Riiko!" he exclaimed happily. "Think we can sit outside more often once we get back to Konoha? I mean, when we can sneak away from our places. You can sneak away from Mabuki and I can sneak away from my chores." he smiled.

Haruka blushed, though she did not know why. His statement was just that: a statement. Not a question. Not 'You know I love sitting and cuddling with you?" No. That was far from it. He was reading her mind. She did know this, so why was she so embarassed by it. Quickly trying to shake it off, she laughed. "Yeah... Riiko... unless she gimps over here and hurts herself worse." she said, though, even she knew this would not be a possibilty. Her father would practically be holding her hostage after her injury. "I think it would be nice... but i'd have to finish my work around the house before i could sneak off at all..." she imformed him. "I have laundry... cleaning... training, practically a chore anyway. And alot of other things..."

"If she somehow gets over here, I'm out of here and up into my room to hide from her." Yuo said. "And, if I can manage somehow I'll come over to your place and help you out. Two people get things done much faster." he said. Yuo thought for a minute or two. "If Mabuki will let me that is. I mean, laundry and cleaning, who wouldn't agree to an extra hand?" Yuo looked at Haruka. "But I have a feeling he'd more than likely say no to me. He keeps thinking I'm going to do something bad."

Haruka smirked. "Well, more than likely, Mabuki wouldn't be home..." she told him. "He's always so busy with the council... especially now with the whole raid thing..." she sighed, tucking the blanket underneath her free arm a she continued to hold onto his hand tightly. "But if he were home, he's open the door and slam it in your face... i'm almost possitive..." she looked up to him, hoping that her opinion would not hit him too hard. "It's like he thinks you're going to rape me or something... I don't know..." she shook her head. "So, we need to picka spot to sit, right?" she asked, trying to get back on track of what they were doing. The seemed to be far enough away from the house that no one would spot them now.

Yuo nodded. "Yup." he said. He looked around where they were. "Somewhere there's some shade and some sunshine." he said, gripping her hand tightly. "It's so nice and warm out. I wish I had more time at home to just relax and get out when it's nice." he sighed as he glanced at Haruka. "And maybe if I can "steal" you away for a bit we could both sit out more often. I mean, I'd really love to sit outside in the sunshine with you. It'd be better than being outside alone." Yuo couldn't help but smile happily.

Haruka looked around as well, trying to find some place near them that fit the description that he was coming up with. "Well, steal, I suppose, is a very appropriate word..." she teased, squinting into the sun as she glanced down at the grass aways. Then, she spotted it. A small grove of trees. They looked like they had a defused sort of light, meaning it was shady and sunny in that area. Much like what Yuo had depicted. "Yuo, what about over there?" she suggested, pointing to it excitedly as she smiled back up at him. He seemed to be very cheerful to be spending time with her. At least, on the outside. Even she could not read his mind.

Yuo looked at where Haruka had pointed and nodded. "IT looks perfect!" he said happily. He pulled Haruka a bit quicker over to the grove of trees. "Let's set the blanket up and then we can just relax." he sighed a big smile on his face. "Just you and me for as long as we want." Yuo was tempted to just keep holding Haruka's hand when they sat down, but he decided to just snuggle up with Haruka instead. "How long do you think we should stay out here? I mean, we can't stay out here until midnight. Why don't we ask Haruhi if we could eat outside later?"

Haruka grinned, following as closely to him as she possibly could, despite his fast pace towards the grove. When they got to the location, she pulled the blanket out from underneath her arm, fluffing it out of it's fold with her one free hand and attempting to lay it out somewhat neatly. It did not work out so well. She shrugged. "Well, I suppose we should probably stay out here until six..." she mused out loud. "And then we could ask and maybe come back out here with dinner..." she shrugged.

Yuo nodded. He let go of Haruka's hand and straightened out the blanket. He sat down and patted a place beside him for Haruka. He couldn't wait to just snuggle with Haruka. "Six sounds good. Oh, but what about Shizuke?" he asked. "She's suppose to stay off of her ankle, and coming out here would require walking. And I don't want her freaking out, nor you freaking out." he said. "I just want a nice peaceful dinner without people squabbling at each other." he said, looking at Haruka. "And I don't know if she'll want me to carry her."

Haruka sat down next to him on the blanket, close enough to him that her shoulder touched his. "Shizuke... hmm... well, i think that her ankle should be in ok condition now." she said. "The patch job, and the ice should have helped alot, and not that the swelling it down it will be less likely that it will get hurt, because the swelling won't cause anything to hurt as badly period." she shrugged. "But i don't know otherwise. I promise i won't freak out again. Last time i was just worried because it was an early injury." she shrugged a second time as she looked down into her hands.

Yuo laid his head sort of on Haruka's shoulder. "She's probably wandering around as we speak." Yuo said. "And she's probably also forgotten about your display of, "mothership" earlier. I thought I heard her come downstairs while we were looking through the trunk, I wasn't paying a ton of a attention though." he said. Yuo sighed a bit. "Ok, new topic. I don't have much to say on this topic, so let's change the topic." he said. "If you absolutely had to choose between Konoha and here, where would you rather stay?" he asked.

Haruka shrugged awkardly with one shoulder, particularly the one that Yuo was not using as a pillow. "That really wouldn't surprise me... Shizuke is so strong willed she'd do anything against anyone else's wishs if she wanted to badly enough..." she laughed slightly. She glanced down to him at his strange question before she allowed her head to lightly colapse against his, her cheek again resting on his hair. "Why did you have to ask the hard question?" she mumbled, sighing. "Fine... i'll be completely honest... if i had to choose... it would be here..." she bit her lip. "But, the thing is, i have no choice... so... it's a moot point..."

"Why would you rather be here?" Yuo asked. "I'm only asking because I'm just curious. To be truthful I wouldn't be able to choose between a place like this, and Konoha." he said. "This place is nice because, everyone knows everyone. It's quite and easy to get around. And Konoha, it's big and there's always a new adventure to find." he lifted his head up a bit. "I do like it here. It's nice, but, eventually it'd get a bit boring. Same people, same town, same path." Yuo chuckled. "Ok, I'll stop talking."
