Sitting in the rain

Eri was sitting on a bench in her village, letting the rain fall down and soak her orange hair to her head. She didn't really mind, she liked how cool it got and how grey the sky turned. It was nicer then at her house by any standard, the rain seemed alive, like it knew she was there, caressing her. She closed her eyes, letting the rain fall down on her, oblivious to everything as she tried to clear her mind.

Yuchii stood in the rain and let it pour down on her. She loved the rain and liked to be in it. She knew she wouldn't get sick from the rain because she always did this and not once would she ever get sick.
She let the rain wash over her and then she saw another girl also in the rain. Yuchii went over to the girl and asked her, "Won't you get a cold from being in the rain like this?...You should get back to your house..."

Eri opened her eyes at the sound of a concerned voice. She smiled at the girl snd shook her head. "Nah, I'm too used to training in the rain to get sick in it now. Besides, my house is so dull.Thank you for your concern though, it's really quite nice of you." She said, rummaging through her waterproof bag to pull out a pouch of homemade sweets.

"My name's Eri." she gave Yuchii the bag of sweets.

Yuchii smiled sweetly and took the sweets "thanks Eri ^-^" she said with a smile. She sat down next to Eri and let the rain pour on her. She put the sweets into her pocket so they wouldn't get wet and smiled again. She realized she forgot to say her name so she said "I'm Yuchii..." She decided not to tell Eri her last name.

Eri smiled at Yuchii. "Wonderful to meet you Yuchii." She grinned at the sky as the rain grew a bit heavier. "Seems it's getting worse eh?" She asked, the rain finally managing to remove some of her hair gel, feeling it run in creamy rivulets down her back.

Yuchii noticed the clouds get heavier and liked it.
When she was younger, her parents told her that it would rain because the sky was sad. she used to believe them but as she got older she learned that there was a reasonable explanation for everything.
She let the rain pelt her skin and drip down. She smiled a bit and closed her eyes so the rain wouldn't fall into her red eyes. She opened them again and the raindrops dripped off of her eyelashes. She then looked over at Eri and asked "Why do you like rain?"

Eri turned to look at Yuchii, before answering. "Well...Since it always rains here, most of my good memories have been in the rain. Also it is rather human in a way. It has moods, it can be a soft and warm summer shower, or it can be cruel and destructive thunderstorm. It's like a friend to me. "She answered, grinning back at the heavens.

Yuchii also loved the rain. She and her sister used to always run around in it. Rain hit her and slid down her skin. She had always liked rain...she sighed and let the rain continue hitting her. She looked at the skies and caught a glimpse of the moon, beyond the clouds. She had also loved the moon. Her favorite type of rain, was when it rained at night and she could still see the moon.

As Kiro and Kiri walked down a street of the Rain Village takeing in what they remember running down the street playing tag run around Mrs. Kioko seeing who could avoid her darting hands trying to grab them. I*n fact hey were so taked by the sight they forgot where they were going and ran into a bench with two people sitting on them and fell.
They got back up and noticed the two people "Sorry Sorrry!"They both said at the same time.

Yuchii was distracted by the rain and didn't come back into the real world until two people ran into her and Eri and started apologizing. She nearly fell off the bench but regained her balance and sat as still as stone. She watched them apologize a bit more and finally replied, "It's okay..."
