Rain, Rain, Go Away!

[Kira]

Miki thought about it for a second before smiling and saying, "Sure!"

She'd only been in the village for about a week and she was still unfamiliar with the land. "It would be nice to learn a bit more about this village and see a few more things..." she thought, suddenly happier than before.

The thought provided her something to do, rather than sulk for the remainder of the rainfall.

[Ichi Kasuke]

Ichi pushed himself off the chair and walked to the door. He opened it and rain was hitting him. He kept the door open for her. "Come on Miki!" He said. I wonder what else could be in this village..other than rain. He thought. He was already getting soaked by the rain.

[Kira]

Miki smiled as she got out of her chair. She quickly paid the bill before heading towards the door.

As soon as she stepped into the middle of the streets, she was soaked again.

She decided to ignore the fact that she could possibly get sick, but was a bit surprised by the fact that the rain seemed to be washing away the depressing feeling she had felt before.

"The rain might not actually be that bad...", she thought to herself, as she looked around the wet village.

The rain had become lighter, except it was still enough to make a person soaking wet.

[Ichi Kasuke]

Ichi closed the door right after she walked out of the shop. "Soo...which direction do you want to go in?" He asked. "In any direction we go, we'll see something new!" He thought. He was soaked, but he didn't care at all. He liked being in rain since he barely got wet when he wasn't in a shower.

[Kira]

Miki smiled as she allowed the cool water hit her cheeks.

She felt refreshed and didn't mind the fact that her clothes were getting all wet, for some reason.

It'd been a while since she'd been in the rain, mostly because she preferred sunlight. It was rare for it to rain in Konoha, and when it did rain, it symbolized an upcoming bad event.

Because of the fact that so far in her life, it only rained when something bad happened, she was used thinking that she could use the rain as a prediction for a new event, one that would upset people.

She knew that if she were to ever move here, it would take her a while to get used to the rain. It also made her wonder how she would feel about not being able to see the sun all the time.

It was like since she grew in Suna, she was so used to a lot of sunlight that it grew on her, and then in Konoha, it was mostly sunny, with the special occasions that the rain symbolized bad events, but here in Rain Village, she wasn't used to anything.

She wondered if the sun ever appeared in a dreary place like like. Suddenly, remembering her company, she turned to Ichi and asked, "I wonder if the sun ever shows up in this place...if it didn't, would you miss it?"

[Ichi Kasuke]

"Yeah, I would miss it. I would like to go here often, I wouldn't mind getting wet every once and awhile." Ichi said and laughed a bit. "I'd probably just dry off in Suna with my friend anyway." He thought. "Which way do you want to go? Straight, left, right, or back?" He asked her. He knew we would find something new in any direction they went.

[Kira]

"Err....." Miki trailed off. She had no clue which way to go, but what she did know was that she would probably get a cold. She wouldn't exactly complain right now, since she enjoyed being out in the rain right now, but she knew that when the predicted cold came, she would be whining and complaining between her future sneezes and coughs.

Still, she ad to take some risks and face the consequences to live a little, didn't she? Either way, she would get a cold sometime in the year anyways, so she felt as if she might as well enjoy the rain and get a cold from that instead.

At first, she thought about settling which way to go with a game of 'eeney meeny miny mo' but after a second thought, she decided against it. To choose something with such an immature tactic was something she would've done years ago, when she was still an academy student.

Finally, she decided. "Uhh....how about you choose?", she mumbled.
