Rain, Rain, Go Away!

[Kira]

Mizuki, or Miki, as her friends called her, was ready to go back to the Leaf village.
She was in the middle of running home, when suddenly, she heard the sound of lightening, rumbling in the sky, along with a flash of bright light, making her jump a bit and stop.

Miki looked up at the sky, that was turning grey-ish and noticed clouds rolling in.

Suddenly rain started pouring down, heavily. Miki let out a squeak of surprise. Before she knew it, she was drenched from head to toe, and shivering.

She mumbled to herself, "Kira-chan would love to be here and in this rain right now..."

Miki noticed there was a slight area in an alleyway that was shielded from the rain, and made a dash towards it, making her limp, wet hair bounced against her back.
She kept running through the rain and squeezed into the spot.
Miki shivered a bit, feeling slightly cold. She sighed and muttered to herself, "This rain isn't gonna stop soon..."
She sat down and peered out, trying to predict how long the rain would last.

[Ichi Kasuke]

Ichi was walking in the rain, just bored. His white hair was going into his eyes. He looked at the lightning, the light from the lightning flashed and it made the ground light up. He noticed Mizuki hiding in the spot that didn't have any rain dripping on it. He stopped and looked, even though he was getting soaked from all the rain.

[Kira]

Miki looked at the sky and noticed the rain get a bit lighter and smiled a bit.
She came out of her spot and the rain started to grow heavy again. “UGH!” she shouted out to thin air. People passing by would’ve thought she was crazy, but she didn’t care at the moment.
“Forget this!” she mumbled. She walked through he rain, once again getting soaked, when she sensed a presence. “Huh?’ she asked no one in particular. She turned around and spotted a boy.
She was curious, but wasn’t sure whether the boy was a threat or not. Miki suddenly seemed to forget about the rain, as she stared at the stranger warily, unsure of what to do.
“Um….hi?” she said to the boy, as more like a question, rather then a form of greeting.

[Ichi Kasuke]

"Hi." Ichi said. The rain started to downpour, much different then a minute ago. Rain...its getting heavier than before. He said. He stood in the rain, looking at the girl. He wished he had an umbrella, since he was getting completely soaked. He sighed. There was rain dripping from his hair that was on his face.

[Kira]

Miki decxided to be a bit more friendly and smiled. "Hi! I'm Mizuki, but you can call me Miki...you are...?" she asked the boy.
She was never good at conversation but hoped that she was getting slightly better.
Miki forgot about the fact that she was getting soaked, and seemed oblivious to the heavy rain, pounding against her body and soaking her head to toe.

[Ichi Kasuke]

"My name is Ichi...I'm from the Sound Village." Ichi said a bit loudly because the sound of the heavy rain was overpowering his voice. He kept feeling all the little rain drops hitting his body, but he didn't mind it. Its been awhile since he was in a rain storm because the Sound Village got barely any rain for awhile.

[Kira]

Miki nodded and replied "It's nice to meet you, Ichi!"
She bowed slightly, to be polite.
She was never good with words and one of the worst at being social. Up until now, it had been others who confronted her first and it was how she found her friends, but now she was the one who was confronting someone else.
She racked her brain for a way to come up with a start for a conversation but found nothing, so she asked a completely idiotic question..."So...how are you...?"

[Ichi Kasuke]

Ichi laughed a bit because of the totally random question. "I'm ok, just getting soaked by the rain..." He said. "How are you?" He randomly asked, not really knowing what to say. He looked at the clouds, he saw no sun. Its probably going to be raining for awhile... He thought and looked back at Miki.

[Kira]

Miki replied, "Um....tired and wet."
She finally realized th rain was still coming down, and noticed a near-by shop that could provide warmth and protection from the rain.
"Um...wanna come?" she asked, pointing at the near-by shop.
She was quite glad about the fact that she found a place she could use as shelter and perhaps a new friend.

[Ichi Kasuke]

"Sure, I'll go to the shop with you." Ichi said. At least I wont get anymore wet than I am now...plus it will be warm! He thought. He waited for Miki to go ahead of him since she found it and he wanted to be polite to the new person he found. He could call her a new friend.

[Kira]

Miki was slightly taken aback by his polite-ness, because now-a-days, you rarely ever saw someone who was polite.
She smiled at Ichi and walked through the doorway, taking a seat next to an area in the shop, that was warm.
She noticed that they sold some food and thought to herself "Well...I am kind of hungry..."
Miki stood up and asked Ichi "Would you like something to eat? I'm paying." She said the last sentence as if it were more like a demand, leaving no room for arguments over who would pay.

[Ichi Kasuke]

Ichi walked into the doorway of the shop. He took a seat next to Miki. "Sure, I'll eat." He said. Lets see what they have...hmmm.. He thought and looked at the food that they sold. I'll probably have their ramen. Let's see if it tastes as good as the Sound Village's ramen. He thought.

[Kira]

Miki smiled as she waited patiently. She was mostly likely, only going to order something small, or just a cup of tea, because it she had eaten before.

Miki smiled to herself, at a random memory that had just popped up.

When she had first met her friend, Kira, she had volunteered to buy Kira something to eat, but it turned out that she didn't know Kira had monstrous appetite, especially for ramen, and could eat seemingly non-stop. She had nearly gone broke trying to pay off the tab, and luckily got some help from Kira.
To this day, Miki still wondered how Kira could eat all that ramen without gaining any weight...the last time she asked, Kira had simply replied 'I always exercise after!' but Miki was still a little skeptical, because the Kira stayed the same weight no matter how much ramen she had, and with or without the exercise, Miki partially believed that Kira would still stay the same weight...she had figured that Kira's stomach was like a bottomless pit, or a black hole.

Miki just seemed to be a curious person, who also got nervous easily...her personality was weird, in her opinion, but then of course, every in her group of friends had a unique personality of their own.

[Ichi Kasuke]

Ichi closed his eyes and thought if he wanted ramen or not. He was a bit hungry, so he wanted to have some. "Can I have some ramen?" He asked the shopkeeper. His hands were a bit cold so he breathed some warm air on them so they could get a bit warmer.

[Kira]

Miki didn't feel hungry, so she simply ordered a cup of tea. She felt warm again and felt her hair start to dry, but unluckily, it was also getting frizzy.
She felt an awkward silence in the air, but didn't know what to say in order to start another conversation.
"So....um....." she mumbled out, unsuccessful at starting up a conversation.
