--Brilliant!--
-----
Name: Gamatatsu Sasubashi
Age: 18
Rank: Chunin
Village: Otogakure
Appearance: Sasubashi's hair is long, dark brown, and mildly spiked back at the sides - the parts left unstyled fall straight down, just past his shoulderline. His flesh is healthy and unblemished. He has a sharp face, a long nose and a gaunt jawline. His eyes often compliment this - as he sometimes appears to be squinting or giving someone a piercing gaze. This is partly due to intimidation, Sasubashi will often have clear, open eyes when he is not in the presence of a threat, or enemy. Speaking of his eyes, they are a light-brown colour, sometimes seen as yellow in bright light.
Sasubashi wears a black t-shirt, a black leather belt - with a silver buckle -, black combat shorts (about 3/4 length) and black sandals. He also has black, fingerless gloves, which has strands which lead up his forearm. He wears his hitai-ate headband around his neck.
He often carries his guitar with him in a guitar bag, which he carries on his back.
Personality: Generally quite quiet, though on philosophical matters Sasubashi can speak his fair share. He is very polite, and he often speaks in what he believes is wisdom, and often refers to famous words of wisdom, or even poetry, assuming it is suitable to the subject at hand.
If he does want to break the silence, he may sing a song or play his guitar.
His temper is short, however, and rarely hesitates to bring pain to anyone who takes him for granted or underestimates him.
Background: Sasubashi lived the relatively ordinary life of a trainee ninja, scoring average grades, motivated to become a high-level ninja to impress his family (who did not wholly agree with Orochimaru's leadership) and friends. Before his first Chunin exam, at the age of 15, he ended up taking the life of a fellow Genin taking the exam (though it was not intentional, he had killed someone for the first time, much earlier than he had assumed he would). Sasubashi found that he was quite distrusted by his fellow students from now on, save from those close to him. The family of the boy he killed still holds a grudge against him.
In order to block out any misgivings he had, he trained ever-harder, improving himself and reaching a new level of power above his peers. His reasoning was that it was a ninja's duty to kill.
He attained the rank of Chunin on his second attempt at the exam, and now teaches the youngest recruits at the local ninja academy, teaching them the basics of ninjutsu and the many paths that a ninja may take.
