Hello! I'm new here (obviously) and decided to introduce myself. I'm really looking forward to becoming an active member here. I've already read the rules and such, and so far it looks like a great forum. But, I haven't been involved in a forum like this before. The few roleplays I've been involved in are crammed into one topic in a gaming forum, or something. So I'm not sure what to do exactly, but I'll work it out. Can't be too difficult, right? Nice meeting you.

That's cool. ^^ So, do I go ahead and post a character in the Ninja Profiles section, then go to the Training Grounds?

It also might be a good idea to start thinking up some unique abilities to go with your ninja. While not necessary in the least, new abilities can be fun to use at times...
(Though, I still have yet to make anything unique)
.........by the way, nice to meet you!

hey there Crimson! welcome to our little community!
If you need any help, PM me, Kaede or one of the mods! To answer you question; first create a character in the appropriate board. You'll need me, kaede or a mod to approve it first! You have to have your own original jutsu approved before use and your allowed 3 of these! You can also use existing jutsu! Then, change your screen-name to that of your primary RP character and begin ^^

Okay, I think I got that! I'll go ahead and post my character in the appropiate section soon. Thanks for letting me know what to do. ^-^
And I have another question...I looked in the help section but didn't see a topic that really covered it. That, or I accidentally overlooked it. If so, then I apologize.
Anyway, I was thinking of giving my character a kekkei genkai. It's not one from the series. If I used one of those, I'd have to relate her to one of the characters, and I think I read somewhere that's not allowed. Plus, I'd like to think of something original. Am I allowed to do this? And if so, do I have to post it under the Jutsu creation section or not?

And if so, do I have to post it under the Jutsu creation section or not? Well... You are allowed to give a Kekkei genkai to your character. But I advise you to don't give one to all characters you create. It's not forbidden, but we were working in order to make people avoid them, once that everyone (or at least it seems) wants to give a Kekkei Genkai to their character. And, as you probably know, a Kekkei Genkai is something special, so it would look banalized if everyone had one. But I don't see any reason that would stop you from making one. You're not guilty if everyone else (or at least the majority of people) is also doing that to their characters. But, as I've said before, if you create more than one character, don't give a Kekkei Genkai to them all. ^^ And by the way, don't create a super powerfull Kekkei Genkai. All of them must have weaknesses. Also, remember that the strongest Kekkei Genkai is the Byakuugan, and there's no way of having another Kekkei Genkai surpassing it. Now, you can write in your profile a bit of the Kekkei Genkai (how it was born, if there is any specif mark on the body of the character because of it...). But I would advise you to describe it in pormenor when you create your first jutsu. There, go ahead and give some more details about it, say what it does and it's weaknesses (this if you don't have much to say). If, when you do this, the information of your Kekkei Genkai get's too longer, post it in a single thread like if it was any other regular jutsu.

Okay! ^-^ Yeah, I have an idea, and don't worry. This will be the only character I make that has one. I like to make my characters vary...it gets old if each of them has the same abilities, or they all have similar pasts, etc. I don't like creating all-powerful characters either. Mine always have flaws...they're supposed to be human, after all. ^-^
Anyway, thanks for the help! ^-^
