Haruka laughed, "Tell me about it." she said through her massive giggle fit. "Well, you sensei seems like a good man. Do you not train under him any more or something?" Her curiousity was getting the best of her again. "I'm sorry, i'm just being my normal probing self." She smiled.

"Ya, he was." Ichi said. "And yes, I did stop training under him. He taught me everything I could handle. I stopped when I became Chunin." He added. I wish I could learn some of the things now that I couldn't learn when I was younger. He thought.

"Oh." she said, her interests being perked. "That's too bad. I'm sure he could have taught you much more, even after your becoming a chunin." She leaned back against the cliff wall. "I know i still have alot to learn from my sensei." she sighed. "Which reminds me i still have to finish up that stupid arithmetic assignment he sent me." she sighed.

"Ya..now I wish I could learn more from him...but I don't even know where to see him..so I can't" Ichi said. "You have an arithmetic assignment? I hated those..." He said. He put his ninja headband back on and his clothes were dry.

"He's missing or something?" she pondered. He seemed to be drying out now, as was she. Her clothing was so light weight it wasn't a surprise. "But yeah, he gave it to me to do on my 'vacation.' He's such an idiot sometimes..." She sighed and took another bit out of her riceball.

"I'm not sure where he is...I haven't seen him in since the Chunin exams..." Ichi said. He ate the last bit of the rice cake...ball..thing. "So he sends you on a 'vacation', and sends you work? Thats stupid." He said.

She shrugged. "Well, that's Mabuki. I have to be doin something constructive, even if i'm on a break." she finished off her own rice ball and chewed the last bit of it happily. "But it is a heck of alot better than physical training." She slumped and tussled through her bag again.
"So you're sensei, just disappeared after the Chunin exam...huh..." she pondered it again. "Strange."

"Yea...I'm not sure why he did it..no one knows." Ichi said sadly. He layed down, he got tired of sitting. "In my opinion, I'd rather do physical training...thats almost all my sensei taught me." He said.

"I'm very sorry..." Haruka said sincerely. "And personally i'd have to say... you've never done Mabuki's training routine..." she grumbled. "8 k run, followed by a two hour bag punch, gymnastic floor training for balance, and more..." she repeated it perfectly, seeing as she had done it so many times in the last three years.

"My sensei Ryuu trained me everyday, for 8 hours, non-stop...unless I needed a quick break, for about 4 years." Ichi remembered it by heart from all the hard work he did. "We did a bunch of hard missions, usually rank B or A everytime." He said.

"B and A missions? As a genin?" Haruka said in disbelief. "Well, i hate to say, but that sounds a bit... unreal." she dipped her feet back into the water, "I have to say i highly doubt that." she smirked at him. She was just trying to get his goat. It was a little activity she rather enjoyed. "Yeah, but i've only been training for three years, flat. Weird huh?"

"Doesn't sound weird to me..." Ichi said. "It took me 3 years of training to get to B ranked missions." He added and laughed. "I'm happy all that training worked out in the end too..." He said. "I'm happy it made me quicker" He said to himsrlf. He closed his eyes and thought about his lost sensei.

Haruka shook her head. "I don't think you get it..." she said with a laugh. "I didn't even become a shinobi until two years ago. I started training one year before i took the Genin test." She sighed. He had completely misunderstood. She hoped she wasn't interupting any important thoughts at the moment.

"No no no..." Haruka said with a smirk, "One year before Genin, two years before Chunin." she said this very slow and deliberately. She was only teasing him. "So four years, you say?" she splashed her feet around boredly. "So what were you doing around the Sound village before then? Am i getting too nosey?"
