Haruka snatched the cup from his hand and shook his good hand hasily. "Now lie down..." she said through gritted teeth, chugging the drink down as she walked over to Yukio. It was an interesting taste, but she didn't concern herself with that now. "Yes, i think i'll do that..." she grabbed a phone which was near the door the the kitchen and called the hospital. It didn't talk long to get the doctor on call to come over.

Yuo slowly walked back over to the couch and picked the blanket up with his good hand. "What are you doing?" I asked him. "Lying on a couch is not comfortable, I'm going into my bedroom and lying down there." Yuo replied. I snatched the blanket from his hands and picked the pillow up. I followed beside Yuo to make sure that he didn't fall over. Yuo slowly laid back on the bed and I put the pillow under his shoulder. I pulled the covers up over him and went back into the large living room. "Ok, he's lying down, I still can't help but think that this is so similar to when we were kids." I said quietly.

Haruka hung up the phone just as Shizuke was walking back in. "That's good. The doctor said not to let him move too much, or the bone chip may burrow so deep that it's unretrevable." she said sitting back down and putting her head in her hand. "Just like I was trying to tell him. But, as always, he won't listen to me." She sighed. "I didn't even know doctors still made house calls." she gave a quick dry laugh.

"Yuo's stubborn, and if you're with him you'll have to get use to it." I said, sitting beside her again. "He's always been stubborn, even when I was younger he was stubborn, Mother had trouble even getting him to lay down when he wasn't feeling good." I chuckled. "But Yuo's loyal and kind, even if he's stubborn." I said. I looked over at Haruka and smiled. "Oh and by the way, he wants to see you." I said, laughing a bit. I got up and picked up the juice to put it away in the fridge.

Haruka blushed. "Fine..." she grumbled, feeling no need to comment again on Yuo's stubborness. Even so, the things she wanted to say repeated again and again in her head. 'He's responsible for his own pain... the idiot. If he had actually gotten some of his injuries treated properly, he wouldn't be in so much pain... stupid stupid idiot.' She can to the door and twisted the knob sullenly. "Yuo?" she said quietly, peeking her head it.

Yuo looked up from his book. "Oh, Hi Haruka." Yuo said. Yuo sat crossed-legged holding a quite large book in his hand. He laughed a bit. "I couldn't resist on readin while I could, laying down alot is not comfortable." Yuo said. He put the bok down and motioned for her to come and sit. I laughed. "Does she believe anything that has to do with Yuo?" Yukio asked me. "She fell for it." I said.

Haruka went and sat down, though her action was hesitant. She looked at the book curiously. "What are you reading?" she asked, trying to stay away from the subject of his injury as best as possible. But, her mind was still shouting it's own comments in a harsh tone. It made her cringe on the inside. But her face remained as bright as it had been when she entered the room.

Yuo laughed. "I don't even know, it's something my father left behind, and it;s been sitting on my bookshelf forever." he said. He looked up at Haruka and smiled. "But I should take a break from it anyway, it's hard reading with only one hand." Yuo said. Yuo put the book down and laid back, his shoulder on the pillow again. "When is the doctor you called going to be here? It's ont like we're miles away from that hospital." Yuo said.

Haruka smiled back and shrugged. "Well, it should be awhile. I think he said he had to gather some examination supplies." she answered, her voice slightly strarked with annoyance. "Plus he's putting the hospital transportation on call in case he needs to get you to the hospital for immediant surgery..." she sighed. "You really need to take it easy until he get here... remember the thing that could happen that i didn't want to say in front of Shi? Well, it was very serious..." She'd rather not say, but if he asked, she would answer.

I hope it's no more than an hour from now." Yuo said. Yuo looked over at the door and picked up his book. He folded the corner of the page and closed the book. He threw the book at the door and the door slammed completely shut. "There, that's better, now we can talk without Shizuke and Yukio hearing us." Yuo said, sitting up a bit, the bandage around his shoulder showing.

Haruka gasped as he tossed the large across the room, wincing slightly as it zoomed past her face. She shook he head to regain herself. "So, do you want to know could go wrong... so you can prepare or something...?" She clenched her hands in her lap and let her hair fall over her face, creating a curtain between the two of them.

"Only if you want to tell me." Yuo replied, smiling a bit and brushing Haruka's hair out of her face. He tilted her chin up again and smiled more at her. "Just don't get all upset ok? I hate seeing you upset." Yuo said. I got up and pulled out the juice container again. I poured myself a glass.

Haruka felt her cheeks tinge pink, but still he did not look at him. She knew that she would start crying or something, and she didn't want to do that in front of Yuo. At least, not when she had control over it. "Well, i want to know if you want to know. I'd rather not, but if i have to say it to keep you from making it worse, i will..."

Yuo reached over with his good aarm and pulled Haruka over. "Ok then, tell me." Yuo said. "Just please don't start crying, it's hard to comfort someone with only one arm." Yuo said. I drank the juice quickly and sat back down. "Oh I hope that docotr hurrys up, it feels like forever." I said. Yukio nodded. "I know." she replied.

Haruka managed to glance over at him. "Me? Start crying?" she lied, "You should know me better than that, Yuo." She turned her sights back to looking straight. "But... i'll tell you i guess..." She took a deep breath before starting, "Well, if that bone shard works it's way far enough, do to the incorrect movement of the muscle it's set in, it can eventully push past the muscles and hit the nerves..." she bit her lip. "And cause... paralization..."
