Yuo stopped and stared at Haruka. "So that's why you kept telling me to lie down." Yuo said. He looked down and a small smile came across his face. "And you will barely even look at me because you'll cry." Yuo said. I sat patiently, wanting the pull out something strong to drink just to stay awake. I got up and walked over to Yuo's room. i opened the door and peeked in. "How are you two doing?" I asked.

She nodded meekly, to the first question. She tried to ignore the second statment. It wasn't even a question. He knew her all too well. Shizuke suddenly walked in and asked about how they were. She reminded herself to thank her later for keeping him from pressing further on they crying thing. "Everything's fine, Shi." she said, flashing her a quick, sincere smile. There was a sudden knock at the door. "Oh, that's probably the doctor." she started to stand up to go and answer it.

I turned and ran to open the door. I didn't want the doctor thinking that Haruka was a part of the Tsukiyama clan, after all it did say Tsukiyama right above the door. "Hello sir." I said, bowing my head quickly. "I know you so well don't I Haruka?" Yuo asked, smiling at her. "If you are going to cry, cry. It's hard bottling up what you feel isn't it?" Yuo asked, trying not to move his right shoulder. "Please come with me, he's back here." I said, backing up to let the doctor in.

Haruka sat back down, seeing that Shizuke had he situation. Her eyes flashed to him, but only briefly before she looked away again, a few tears welling up in her eyes. She wiped them with the back of her hand hastily. "It's just..." she said, shakenly. "I think your pain hurt me more than my own..."
At that moment the doctor walked in, after his greeting to Shizuke and Yukio in the living room. He knew immediantly who was his patient, due to the bandages. "You must be Tsukiyama Yuo." he said, setting down his bag. "I'm doctor Yomoshi. So, shall we get down to the examination?" He looked at Haruka quickly. "If you wouldn't mind, miss, i think it would be best you left."

Yuo shot the doctor a glare. "She stays." Yuo said sternly. Yuo looked over at Haruka, wanting to reach out and hug her tightly just so she would stop crying. I ran in and over to Haruka. "Do you want to stay?" I asked her. I didn't want her to stay if she didn't want to. "I want her with me." Yuo sneered.

Yomshi was shocked by his sudden agressive tone. Haruka also jumped in shock. The tears had stopped, but a few lingered on her cheeks. Quickly wiping them away, she looked to Shizuke, "No, it's fine. I don't mind." came her shaken reply. It was so quakey, it didn't even sound like her.
The doctor cleared his throat, trying to regain his sense of pride. "Very well. But i must suggest you stay on his left, away from the injury. I'll need to examine it theroly." He pulled up a chair on the right side of bed. He began to unwrap the bandages to look at the shoulder.
Haruka did as she was told and moved to the left side, out of his way. She stood up by the top of the bed. She wanted desperately to grab his hand, to tell him it would be ok, but she could bring herself to.

I chuckled and left the room. "What happened?" Yukio asked me. "That doctor dude, he just had his ego hurt by Yuo." I laughed. Yukio laughed too. Yuo tried to sit still, but even the unwrapping of the bandages was killing him. Yuo reached over and took one of Haruka's hands. "I'm trusting you, trusting that you'll be ther when I need you." Yuo said to her.

Haruka looked from her now enclosed hand and back to Yuo. She nodded quickly before looking away again. The bandages being removed was enough to make her cringe. If it hit him just to move even slightly, this had to be torture. After several minutes, the bandage was off. "Now, Tsukiyama-san, this will hurt a little. But i have to check the inflamation." He took out a stethescope, usually used for listening to heartbeats, to check the flow of blood to the area. He laid it as gently as possible on the shoulder joint. Haruka squeezed Yuo's hand, preparing for what was probably to come.

yuo winced in pain and hung on tighter to Haruka's hand. "I'd prefer it if you call me Yuo." Yuo said through his pain. He kept his grip tightly around Haruka's hand. I sat patiently, waiting for the ever so hurt doctor to finish his examination. "You think Yuo's alright?" I asked Yukio. Yukio nodded. "I'm sure he'll be fine." she said.

"Very well, Yuo." he laid the stethescope around his neck as he finished with it. "The inflamation's pretty bad, and it's obviously hurt badly, seeing as there's alot of blood flow through the area." he explained. "So, based on that, i'm pretty sure you've pulled a muscle or two in there as well. "As for the bone shard," he continued, "It' wedged in there pretty deep, do to movement I'm sure." he glanced at Haruka. She avoided his eyes. He had specifically ordered Yuo unmoved until he arrived. She had not enforced it. "We will need to get you to the hospital for surgery as soon as possible."

Yuo nodded and turned to glare at the doctor. "Don't blame her for that shard, I chose to move, not her." Yuo sneered. He didn't like Yomshi treating Haruka like it was her fault. "I'll go whenever I have to, but she comes with me." Yuo said, looking over at Haruka. "And so do my sister and her friend, i'm not going anywhere without them." Yuo said.

Yomoshi again was quite startled. He had much more fight than most patients he had seen in the past few years. He nodded finally. "I'll call hospital transportation. They should be here in about fifteen minutes. I'll meet you all at the hospital. He left the room, and before exiting the house, he nodded to Shizuke and Yukio. ANd with that, he left.
Haruka exhaled a long held breath. "God i feel like an idiot..." she mumbled. "You didn't have to yell at him like that either, Yuo." She shook her head. What she had ment to say was, 'You didn't have to stick up for me.' But it seemed her mind was sensoring things.

"Yes I did, he was looking at you like it was all your fault!" Yuo exclaimed, his hand still wrapped around hers. "And it's not your fault, you didn't make me move, I did, it's my fault." Yuo said, frowning a bit. "I just didn't like seeing him treat you like that." Yuo said. I ran over and swung the door open. "That was hilarious, that doctor just got his ego bruised by Yuo!" I exclaimed.

Haruka released her hand gentle with a tug from his tight grasp. "I'm used to it by now." she said quietly, so that Shizuke wouldn't hear. She turned to face her. Giving her a smile and a hollow, empty laugh was difficult, considering she had a rush of hurtful memories comeback all at once. 'Oh, it's that girl again...'
"The transporation to the hospital should be here in about ten or fifteen minutes." she said trying to block out the voices. 'She's really strange. Did you see what she did yesterday at the bridge?' 'Yeah, it was freaky. I thought she was going insane.' 'I've never seen anyone just stare into nothing like that.' 'She's a freak.' 'Yeah, a freak.'

Yuo looked at his hand and frowned. "Use to it? He was treating you like you were a piece of dirt!" Yuo exclaimed. Yuo looked over at her and realized that she seemed to be blocking something out. "Haruka-chan are you ok?" he asked her. I nodded. "That's good, Yuo's going to need it." I said, looking over at Yuo.
