Haruak bit her lip. "Well, still. His definition of 'drop by and say hello' is far different from yours Yuo. He means literally 'drop by.' As in for a few minutes to say hello and then leave..." she sighed. It was hard to explain some what, but Mabuki always said thigns literally. "I can multi task. I'll eat it while we talk. It's not that hard." she smiled lightly, grabbing his hand and directing him toward the kitchen eagerly. It was just so great to have him back around. She had felt so lonely when he was gone.

"Then maybe I'll figure out an excuse to stay a little longer than a few minutes." Yuo said. "I'm sure if I had a good excuse he'd let me stay just a little longer." he said, holding her hand tightly as she lead him into the kitchen. "And trust me, I've got plently of excuses. With a little sister, almost anything is possible." he said, walking quicker so he could be by her side. Yuo saw the folder out on the table, but he didn't dare say anything. He didn't want her to freak out or anything.

Haruka shrugged slightly as they entered the kitchen. "I suppose you could try to come up with an excuse..." she said. She walked over to the table to sit down, still holding onto his hand as she did so, figuring that if he wanted to release her hand, he would do so. She on the other hand, felt no need, nor want, to do so. She glanced at the folder with was still sitting there. She quickly picked it up and stuffed it behind the napkin holder on the table. Hoping that he expression did not reveal that she had read it, she quickly changed the subject. "So, um... thank you again for the breakfast... even if i have already eaten." her voice was awkward though.

"No problem." Yuo said as he released her hand and pulled up a chair beside her at the table. "I didn't see a point in putting back a bowl when I could just use it." he said. "I hope you like it. It was the only simple thing I could find that was at least somewhat good, and different. Our normal breakfast usually has something and rice." Yuo chuckled dryly. "It only has rice because Shizuke loves it. She's a rice fanatic and I use to tease her and tell her she was going to marry a bowl of rice."

Haruka could not help but snicker at this. "It's always rice at your house!" she said, remembering the few days she had spent there. It was always on the table, whether it be for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. "I understand it's because of shizuke, but that much starch can not be good for her..." she substained another laugh. She was just glad he had not noticed her awkwardness before, or at least he was not egknowlege it. She took a bit of the fruit mix. It did taste a bit different, but it was still good. "I'm glad you put in strawberries." she said as she chewed.

"Why?" Yuo asked, looking at her. "I just thought strawberries would taste good with strawberry ice cream and a bunch more fruits." he said, smiling a bit. "Shizuke doesn't really care that much. She loves rice and shrimp. Her two favourite foods besides other smaller things like different types of fruits and vegetables." he said. "I'm going to work really hard on improving my cooking a bit at least. Then I can cook without any help and without getting hurt." he said. "And then I'll bring some of what I make over to you so you can try it."

After a time, Haruka finished off what was in the bowl. "Because you know that i like strawberries. Gee, i figured even you could put two and two together." she teased him, giving a slight laugh again. Everything was brighter and happier when Yuo was around. Everything. "I'm glad that you plan on improving your cooking though. It's a good skill to have when you're traveling." she set down her spoon. "That was good though. More like a dessert than a breakfast but..." she shrugged with a happy grin.

Yuo smiled sheepishly. "I tried. It looked good, simple, and it was in the breakfast section of the receipe book." he said. "Give me at least some credit for trying and not slicing my entire index finger off!" he exclaimed. "I'm going to try a bit of soup next. Then I'll bring you some over and you can try it." he said. "Then once I perfect a few simple dishes, I'll start on more complicated dishes. I'm going to do the best I can." he said. "Do you think I can cook up something really nice?"

Haruka smiled at him, again with encouragment. "Well, i think so... yes..." she said, standing up to take the bowl to the sink and rinse it out. "Cooking just takes time and patients, so you'll get it eventually. I'm possitive." She laid the bowl in the sink after she had finished dowsing it with water and turned back to him. "You're going to take that home with you, i presume?" she asked. Leaning against the counter, she waited for his answer. So far this morning, they had not done anything remotely couple like, besides hold hands. But that was not much.

"Yup." Yuo replied. "I'm going to do the dishes and a bit more work around the house then I'll be back." Yuo said. He looked at Haruka, a small smile on his face. "I can't wait until you can come back and stay again. I'm 100% sure that the happiness in the house has died down." he chuckled. "I've noticed that Mother has been happier though. She hums when she's cooking something or doing laundry. She doesn't hum very often though. She use to only hum when I was just little." he said.

Haruka smiled. "Well, that's nice. What do you suppose has her humming?' Haruka asked, coming back over to join him at the table. She was not exactly sure what activities they could partake in at her house. It was so borning and there was almost nothing to do around there but train if you needed something to entertain yourself with. But there was the back yard. A small area that exposed to the forest that surrounded the city. There was a pond and lots of ferns and other greenery. Maybe they could do that or something. "Hey, Yuo, you want to go outside in a bit? I just wanted to show you something." she smiled.

Yuo shrugged. "I only remember her humming when she was extremely happy." Yuo said. "And trust me, she's not often extremely happy. The last time she was really happy was when Shizuke stated to improve on her jutsu before Father left." he said. "Then after Father left she never hummed, and then when I came back to visit every once and awhile without being caught, she'd be as quiet as mouse." he said. "I'd see her sitting on the couch reading, or she'd be inside my room preparing it for my return." he smiled a bit. "And I'd love to go outside later."

Haruka shrugged. "So... it's abnormal..." she said with a slight laugh interupting her statement. "Well, it's good to here that Misuki is feeling... more upbeat and all..." She stood up, resting her hands lazily behind her head. "So, let's just go ahead and go outside, seeing as my house is a bore and there's just nothing to do." she smirked as she waited for him. What if he found it boring? Her one little secret place were she went to chill out was not really that interesting. That was what she was beginnging to think. Just something nice to look at. She did not allow the alarm and worry to rush over her expression, to her relief.

Yuo smiled and nodded. He stood up and followed her. "I think it's becuase you brought happiness back into the house." he said. "I mean, she never hummed and she did her work in silence, now every once and while, I catch her spinning around happily and humming like she's 13 again." he said, chuckling. "I was thinking when I came home earlier after I saw her doing the laundry really early, that maybe we need someone to bring back all the happiness into the house." he said, shrugging. "But, it's just a thought. Our house looks so old compaired to what it did when I was just a baby, I thought maybe it wouldn't look so old with a bit of happiness."

Haruka began to start out of the house, through the living room and out the back door she had just come in from awhile ago after training. She laughed slightly. "Well, i'll need to try and visit again soon. If that's really the case that is..." she shrugged. They came out onto the porch and she walked towards the woods. "I'm warning you now, seeing as you're the clutz here." she said with a grin as she looked back at him. "There's quite a few roots through here that pop up out of the ground. So... just be careful." She wanted so desperately to reach back and grab his hand, but she restrained herself.
