"Ok, I'll be careful." Yuo said as he hurried to catch up with her and take her hand. "Come on, Mabuki can't see us, so, there's nothing to worry about." he said, walking beside her with his hand firmly in hers. "And I won't fall, not a chance I'll fall. If I have your hand, and I fall, you'd be coming with me." he said, pecking her cheek quickly. "AS long as Mabuki's out, he can't see us, and we can break the rules he's put up." Yuo took a deep breath in.

She suddenly felt something firm take up her hand. It was warm and familiar to her, anymore. She smiled as she squeezed back on Yuo's hand. "I suppose you're right. And if you do fall, it shouldn't be that bad..." she laughed. "I doubt anything fatal will come of tripping on a tree branch." She looked b ack at him as she continued walking forward. She glanced down briefly at their hands. "You know... it's kind of fun.... breaking the rules. I've never done it before..." she shrugged.

Yuo chuckled. "I do it all the time." he said. "Especially with the rules my mother set up while I was a child. Like never stick a kunai in your mouth." Yuo chuckled, hurrying to walk beside her. "I stuck one of my kunai in my mouth after dipping it in yogurt. I cut the tip of my tongue." he said. "Breaking the rules is a ton of fun, as long as it's not dangerous." he said. "I only break the rules that I know won't get me seriously hurt or dead." he smiled a bit at her.

Haruka percked up one eyebrow up at him. "Kunai... i'm your mouth.... genius..." she said with a snicker. That had to be the stupides thing she had ever heard of anyone doing to themselves. It seemed like such a common sense thing to not do. "How old were you when you did that?" she asked curiously. He had to have been younger, and it probably taught him a lesson at that age. They finally came to the small clearing. Everything was just as it had been when she had left it; the ferns, the stream that ran down towards the lake on the other side of town, the tall, hollowed trees. She grinned.

"Three." Yuo said. "I got into my fathers kunai, I forget how exactly. But my mother had told me not to do it when I started training much more." he said. Then his blue eyes laid on the nice clearing. Yuo smiled. 'This place is nice. The trees, grass, and the river there. I'll have to come here to find Haruka sometime.' he thought. Yuo looked at Haruka and smiled. "This place is nice." he said. "It's very green and lush. It's nicer than Mother's garden. And Mother's garden is a wonderful place." he said.

Haruka nodded, remembering the back yard of the Tsukiyama's house, where they had both seen Mizuki doing her work and also where Shizuke had gotten tea leaves before. "Yes. I'd have to agree; Your mother's garden is extremely nice." she said happily. She lazed over to the edge of the stream and released Yuo's hand to sit down crosslegged. Looking up at him, she patted the space next to her. "I come here all the time when I need to just clear my head. I've never shown it to anyone... well.. except Santomoro... but whatever..."

Yuo sat down next to her, his knees pressed close to his chest as he looked at her. "Well at least I know where to find you if I can't find you anywhere else." he said, moving a bit closer to her, his side touching hers. "I know I'll find you here. This place is really nice, definitly a place to clear your mind." Yuo looked at the little small river. He wished it were bigger so they could go for a swim, something Yuo loved to do. "Hey, later in the afternoon do you want to go swimming? I've been dying to jump into cool water."

Haruka torn her gaze from the scenery in front of her to look over at him, her forehead creased. "Swimming... gee... I don't know..." she said, bitting down a bit on her lip. She had so many different things to do around the house that day, like the laundry, sweeping, vaccuming, and other assorted house work. "I... well, i have some things around the house that need to get done..." she said. "If Mabuki find i've lazed off all day... well, i'll probably be in more trouble than i already sort of am..." she shook her head. "Not that i'm actually in trouble for anything... i guess he's kind of implied it... but not punishing me... I don't know..."

"Well then let me help." Yuo offered. "Then you can get it done faster and we can have time to swim." he said. "Come on! I don't want to go and swim around alone. That's so fun." Yuo said. "Please Haruka! While I'm here we can both work on your house work and get it done. Then you'll have more time to laze around and I'll have time to take you swimming! Please!" Yuo didn't want to be stuck inside working on calligraphy or practicing his flute, he'd much rather be with Haruka.

Haruka sighed, unsure as to how to answer exactly. "Fine... fine..." she mumbled. Hopefully Mabuki would not pop in at some random moment for lunch, as he occationally did. "We'll do that in a bit... unless you want to start now so we have more time?" she looked over to him again, pulling her knees up to her chest, ready to stand up if this was his decision. Swimming might be a nice change from her regular routine. Now with Yuo around, everything in her life seemed changed somehow.

Yuo stood up and picked her up, setting her on her feet. "Let's start now." he said. "Then we'll have time to swim, and then we can hang around more." Yuo said, smiling. "And then you also have more time to laze around after I go...home." this saddened Yuo. Yuo really didn't want to go home, he would've much rather prefered staying with Haruka, or having her at his place but he knew it was impossible, due to the fact that Mabuki pretty much hated the fact that he loved Haruka so much, SO MUCH.

Yelping slightly as she was swept up off the ground, and then gently propped up to her feet. "I can stand on my own you know..." she informed him in a murmur, brushing off her back of dirt from the ground. "Fine, we'll go ahead and start now... i was going to have to start anyway-" she stopped as he addressed his haveing to leave. She swallowed. Alone. Again. "You know... you could always just... sneak in my window for awhile like you did yesterday night..." she suggested quietly.

Yuo looked at Haruka, and he could see the sadness forming. He put his hands on her shoulders and smiled. "I will." he said. "I'll run home after we finish your work. Get everything I need to done, and then come back and sneak in your window like last night." Yuo said. "And then I'll do the same tonight. I'll come in and sneak in your window, stay with you and leave early in the morning. Then come back." Yuo smiled. "Ok? Haruka, I promise I won't be very far if you need me. And if for some reason you do need me and I'm not here. Just come and find me."
