She took a deep breath again, trying to calm herself. THe stinging sensation was beginning to settle. "Well, no... I just... slapped my legs on the water when you threw me..." she explained. "You know, like a belly flop... kind of like that..." she winced once more. SHe only just then realized that he was holding her to his chest to keep her up, but as oblivious as she was. "I think i'll be ok... I'm not hurt too bad... it'll go away..." she smiled. "You.. can let go of me. I'll be ok..."

"I'm not letting go of you until your legs are ok enough to keep you above the water." Yuo said, still holding her up. "You were thrashing about the water like you were drowning...and I didn't think it would be ok to just leave you there." he said. "And plus...I'm standing on the bottom, so I won't get too tired." he said with a smile. "I just got a bit worried...I thought you had hit a rock of something and got hurt badly." he said. "And MAbuki would've murdered me if that had happened."

She smiled. "No, really i'm fine..." she assured him. "My legs are fine." she tried to squirm away from him hold, but as always the attempt was unsuccessful. "And if you're standing on the bottom it can't be that much further down for me... So i think i can just kick myself back up if worst comes to worse." she tried again. "And i doubt Mabuki would get too mad. I mean, i get hurt all the time, nothing major of course, but he doesn't really give a damn."

Yuo bit his lip. "Ok...but..as long as you're sure about that..." Yuo said, releasing her gently so she could still float if needed. "He should care Haruka. I mean, he's the one keeping a roof above your head and you're doing all the work around the house for him. He should at least care about you if you're hurt!" he exclaimed, "I mean...if I had a girl staying in my household and she was doing all the cooking, cleaning, and laundry and what not, I would at least care if she was hurt or sick.."

She grimaced. "I'd rather her didn't anyway... he understands that... that's why he doesn't..." she mumbled. "You know that i hate it when people worry about me. Besides if i was sick and he was worried..." she shivered slightly, keeping her arms moving to keep herself up. "He'd try to... cook... ew..." She swam backwards from him. "Anyway, come on. We came here to swim, not talk about Mabuki." She dove under quickly to swim under and away quickly, a slight smile on her face.

Yuo swam quickly after her, kicking his feet wildly to keep up.He swam near the bottom, looking around in the slightly murky water to see if he could find Haruka. He slipped the the surface and kicked his feet to stay above. Yuo jumped out of the water and shook himself off. He backed up and ran at the waters edge, stopping just before it and diving in, closer to the deeper part of the lake. Yuo pulled the hair elastic from his hair and shook it out wildly. "There! Much better!" he exclaimed happily, diving back under the water.

Haruka had come up for air, quite alot further from the short than she had anticipated to come up. But she was hanging around over by a murky bank, and out of sight, at least she hoped, from Yuo. She sniggered as he shook his head. He looked somewhat like a wet dog for the brief moment. "Well are you coming over or aren't you?" she yelled teasingly from her hiding spot.

"If I could find you I would!" Yuo exclaimed, still searching around for Haruka. "Where on Earth are you hiding!?" he called. Then he spotted her. He slipped out far from her sights and climbed out, sneaking around behind her. He chuckled as he pounced on her playfully. "Ahaha! I found you!" he exclaimed, laughing as he pulled her back into the water. "It's easier to hide behind a tree, rather than right on the surface I hope you know." he said, laughing as he dove back in, swimming around happily, with not a care to worry about, or at least not yet.

She stuck out her tongue at him before he could drag her down into the water again. She felt like a little kid again, not that she had ever really felt like one in almost ten years. "Well, i wasn't trying to hide... Geez, you're just so oblivious." she laughed as she followed behind him in a forward stroke. This was actually going quite well. As long as they did not have any visitors, things would be great. No one to spoil anything or get on their nerves.

Yuo chuckled, lounging on his back as he kicked his feet light to move around, smiling. "Or were you!?" he laughed. Yuo turned and swam under the water near the bottom, looking for a little shiny rock for Haruka. Yuo finally found a shiny rock and brought it back up for her. "Here Haruka." he said, holding the rock out for her. "You can bring it home and put it on a shelf or something. Then you'll always remember to come swimming with me again." Yuo said happily. "Because I'd love if you came to swim with me again."

Haruka quirked an eyebrow curiously. "It's... a rock...?" she said unsure of how exactly to react. After a bit of evaluation, she took it from him. "fine... i'll put it in my room so Mabuki doesn't get suspicious..." she told him. "Let me just put it by my stuff..." She quickly swam back over to the bank where he had through her shoes. Once that was finished, she ran across the bank back over to where he was in the water. She smirked with a thought. "Canon ball!" she yelled childishly, tucking her knees to her chest as she jumped off the bank and back into the water. She popped up again, a smile on her face.

Yuo sighed as his hair dripped down the side of his head and face. "Oh isn't that wonderful!" he exclaimed. "At least I don't make that big of a splash!" Yuo teased as he swam away quickly. "Last one to the other side has to give the other a piggy-back! So you better hope you aren't last Haruka!" Yuo laughed as he swam quickly. He wasn't wasting a minute of time, he just kept swimming, not looking back or anything. He wasn't really going to make Haruka carry him if she was last though.

Haruka stuck out her tongue. "I was only having a bit of fun." she said with a smile, knowing that he was only kidding around. When he suddenly bolted off in another direction, she narrowed her eyes. "Cheater!" she yelled after him as she spread her arms out in front of her to try and catch up as quickly as she possibly could. 'Starting before me...' she thought angerly, her competitive side taking over. She was gaining but she had not yet caught up. After a short time, she was just behind him, and slowly creeping up beside him. 'Almost there...' she kept telling herself.

Yuo smiled mischeviously as he caught sight of the bank. He swam faster, pulling slightly ahead from his position close to Haruka. I was a good 20 meters to the edge of the lake. Yuo was determined to make it to the edge of the pond before her. there was no way Yuo would look back, and the mad kicking of his legs made large splashes. He was quick, and the years of swimming lessons he had taken from his father and mother were beginning to pay off. 'Faster, faster.' he kept thinking to himself. 'Faster! Faster!' he kept going.

He was pulling ahead again. Haruka knew she could not go any fast than what she already was booking out. He was bigger than she was, and he definetly had a wider stroke. There was absolutely no way she was going to beat him. So she stopped completely in the water behind him, sniggering slightly. What was the point if you knew you were going to lose? Besides, if she stayed in the water, she could not in any way give him a piggy-back, as he had said that the winner would recieve from the loser.
