Daisuke watched as Tora waved to a waitress who went by the name Kria, or so her name-tag said. he vaguely wondered if Tora wanted her as the waitress instead. It'd be much less stress-inducing for him.
Kuri, jumping at the sound of a familiar voice, immediately turned to see the girl who'd been on his mind only too often. a smile immediately lit his face as he swept the silver-haired girl into a hug. He broke away after a few seconds, waving to his femal co-worker to go take his friend's table instead. "Taking five," he mouthed.
He grinned happily when Kria nodded and headed to the table.
He immediately turned his attention back to Kiko, exclaiming, "Kiko! How are you?"

Kira walked over to Daisuke and Tora, saying, "Hey Tora! How's it going?" She winked at her. "Who's the boyfriend?"
Tora raised an eyebrow at Kria. "Kria, Daisuke, Daisuke, Kria," she said. Kria smiled at Daisuke. "The usual, Tora?," she asked. Tora nodded, she was back to not speaking much now that she was in someone else's company. "Kay, coming right up!" She handed Daisuke a menu, and walked towards the kitchens. "I'll be back in a sec to take your order, Daisuke," she called over her shoulder.
Kiko hugged Kuri tightly back, and then stepped back a step and looked at him. "Kuri! I'm perfectly fine, but a lot better now that I've seen you again," she said sincerely.

Daisuke stared at the menu, before blinking twice, almost innocently. His lack of experience at being at a restaurant was almost sad. He didn't know what to order and it was almost comical how he repeatedly scanned through the list, tempted to scratch the back o his head in confusion. This was exactly why he made his friends take home food for him.
He didn't know what each order was. Almost sheepishly, he looked over his menu, right at Tora, and asked, "Err....what would you suggest?"
Kuri grinned. His happiness level just went right through the roof. it was almost awkward how Kiko and him were speaking so sincerely and hugging each other as if they were the lovliest couple in the world. Too bad, he'd never gotten the chance to ask her out.
He was always too distracted by how her shining silver hair caught the light perfectly and her deep violet eyes were such a gorgeous color that he was mesmerized.
It was so unlike him, acting so sappy around a girl. He couldn't flirt shamelessly around her, for fear that she wouldn't like him. It was as if they had some deep relationship that neither spoke of. It was just there and obvious, but they never talked about it. There never felt like there was a need to, but he was worried, Was he the only one thinking this way? What if the hidden bond was just friendship? That harsh, possible truth could knock him out of his flirtatious habits for quite a while.

Tora smirked slightly at Daisuke's expression. "You just had the funniest look on your face...," she said. He looked ratehr confued and undecided. "I take it you don't go out much." 'Though I would be the same way if I didn't get dragged...,' Tora thought dryly.
And I would suggest...Probably one of the salads, or the grilled chicken meal thingy. I usually get the salad with the little grilled chicked strips on it. Both my favorites in a nice, healthy package." Tora liked to eat healthy.
Kiko smiled brightly back at Kuri, way wider than she probably would have if it had been any other person. Kiko just felt the need to be all smiley when she was around Kuri, she had quite a big crush on him.
Drawing up her courage, Kiko said, "You know, the lask time we met, we didn't give any way of contacting each other. Maybe for...A date.." Kiko blushed when she said this. "D-Do you want my number?," she asked, stumbling over her words a bit.

Daisuke listened to her, feeling a bit less confused. Finally, he stated as bluntly as he could, "Um...could you just order for me?" He tried to hide his embarrassment, though he was unsure how it was going. Maybe he really should go out more. He never though he could read something as simple as a menu and not understand it. For pete's sake, even a toddler would understand it better than he did.
He was positive that his social life was horrendous.
Kuri blushed as he heard 'date.' "Err....Y-yeah! I'd like to have you number..." Heh. First stutter. it was odd, seeing as he usually asked for phone numbers and wasn't as often offered one.
He was, after all, the shameless flirt. Flirt. Flirt. Flirt. Yup, he lived to flirt and would die flirting...
((OOC: Sorry, Kyo-chan! This reply is really short, but I'm starting to get a small bit of writer's block, but I swear the next reply will be longer @_@))

Tora grinned at Daisuke. "Yeah, of course," she said. "Anything in particular you like?," she asked. She really didn't want to order him something he didn't like, even though he didn't really seem like all that much of a picky eater.
She glanced over at the couple by the door, both who were blushing red. "Seems like someone else is getting a little action in their love life, too, eh?," she murmured to Daisuke, her eyes unusually bright. Tora was in one of her rare good moods.
Kiko blushed, reaching into her pocket and pulling out a mini-notebook and a mini-pen. Kiko was a lover of all things mini. She was aware that they were both embarrassed, and she leaned over onto a table to scribble down her number, and her name to remind him. She even scratched, "Call me" in the bottom corner with a smiley face. Ripping it out, she took Kuri's hand and gave it too him, closing his fingers around it with a smile. Kiko could do her own share of flirting.

Daisuke shrugged, "I pretty much eat anything that's edible." Upon Tora's observation, he turned to watch the flirting couple that he knew of. One of which was Kuri, and the other he assumed was Kiko. Grinning, he told Tora, "This should be interesting...it's not often you see my shameless flirt of a friend acting so shy around some...a girl nonetheless!"
Kuri felt his face practically enflame when he felt Kiko's fingers close them around her phone number... He was definitely calling her...ASAP.
He dug through his jumbled mind, searching for a topic. Found one!
"So...how do you know this place?" He was well aware that it was past five minutes, though Kria didn't seem to mind. He was sure that his boss would, though. 'Unfortunately', the boss was here today, and he was free to do as he pleased. He was sure that if the employer discovered that today, his employee was neglecting work to flirt with a girl, he'd be unquestionably fired.

((OOC: I'm making this long for not posting in a while! >.<))
As if sensing that Tora had an idea of what to order for Daisuke, Kria walked briskly back to the table. "Hey, guys," she said cheerfully. "I take it you're ready to order?," she asked, looking at Daisuke primely.
Tora spoke up. "Yeah, Kria, he'll have the number seven," she said, nearly smiling. She craftily picked up Daisuke's menu and handed it to Kria, so he could not know what it was. "It's a surprise," she said to Daisuke, with a smirk. "It's not anything bad, I just like to mess with people."
Kria rolled her eyes. "Trust me, she does," she said before walking away. She stopped by Kuri, whispering an idea into his ear. "Why don't you seat her, and then be your waiter. That way you'll have an excuse to talk to her, and still be working." She winked at him, knowing this from experience.
Kiko smiled, still blushing as she released Kuri's hand. "Oh, I know it through a friend of mine, Kyo. She's been coming here for ages, even before Kria worked here. This place has been around for a while, if you didn't know that," she said.
Kiko heard what Kria said, and thought it was a pretty good idea. Giving Kuri a playful smirk, she said, "That's great idea. That way you can flirt and make money at the same time!"

Daisuke grinned slightly. Hanging out with Tora was probably one of the best thing to do, though his pride and such kept him from saying so. if he wanted to be blunt, he would just say, 'Hanging out with you is fun.' But with his lazy expression, the comment might be taken as mocking her...Oddly, Tora was the one girl who he DIDN'T want to get ma at him.
Simply, she could possibly be the only girl who he cared about when it came to what she thought of him. With his signature smirk, he replied. "Okay, surprise me!"
Kuri sheepishly scratched the back of his head, as he replied, "So I've been caught, eh?"
Almost happily, he seated Kiko at a table where he could keep an eye on her. Something in his gut told him that'd it'd be unbearable torture to be unable to see her face after he had no contact with her in such a long time.
He handed her a menu, as he cleared his throat, stood up straight, looking stiff, asking her in a gentlemanly voice, "What would you like to order, dear madame?" He was sure he wouldn't be able to keep up the act for much longer before he cracked up. Dear madame? it was simply his style to act casual.

"Oh, don't you worry, I already have," Tora said, with a mischivious light in her pink eyes. Anyone could tell that Tora was finally letting her guard down and relaxing. But one couldn't really tell if it was the fact that she was in one of her favorite places to hang out, or that she was with Daisuke.
Tora tossed her hair out of her eyes with a slight flick of her head, and then looked at Daisuke. Her eyes narrowed slightly in a curious way. "What's your favorite color?" With this unexpected question, Tora leaned forward onto the table and rested her chin on her folded hands.
Kiko couldn't help but giggle slightly. "Dear madame?," she said questioningly. "You're really milking this, Kuri." But then she decided to play along. She sat up very straight, and looked down her nose at her menu. "I'd like.... A veggie burger and fries, if you please," she said in a stiff voice. "And a coke, please." Then she snapped her fingers. "And be quick with it, waiter!"
Kiko tried unsuccessfully to hide her playful smile. She was aware that they were being rather childish, but Kiko was just so carefree that she didn't care. (Especially around Kuri.)

Daisuke raise his eyebrows at the unexpected question....well, it wasn't like you'd see the action anyways. His hair was THAT long. Tilting his head slightly, he muttered, "Err....I dunno...green? Deciding to push the spotlight off him, he replied, "What's yours?"
He was tempted to ask if it was pink, seeing as she had pink highlights AND pink eyes, but that could possibly be from parental inheritance....wait. Didn't she say before that one of her friends loved pink so much that she was almost sickened by the color? Hot pink maybe? But that was simply another shade of pink. Feeling his brain fry, he decided to stop thinking and just let his companion reply.
Kuri grinned as he wrote down Kiko's order and passed it back to the chef. He swiftly got her drink and brought it forward. "Now, mistress, wouldn't you do me the favor as to grace me with the honor of you calling this lowly waiter, Kuri?" He was pretty sure he didn't know what half the words he just said meant, but he was sure it made a sentence......Well. Mostly sure.
Despite his ignorance, he still grinned a brain melting grin. That was usually distraction enough to keep people off the topic of his ignorance in the olden English vocabulary.

Tora sighed. "It's not pink, even though I seem to have a lot of it on me," she said. "It's kind of an aqua-ish blue, kind of a cross between turquoise and aqua." Tora looked slightly frustrated, because she couldn't think of a name for her favorite color. Maybe there wasn't one, she didn't know.
"The pink eyes are genetic, from my dad's side, ironically enough," she said. "And the highlights were my mom's idea. On a 'girl's day out' a few years ago. I liked how it looked, and decided to keep them." Tora got them redone every few months, along with a haircut to keep her hair short. "And the pink sweatshirt is just because it matches."
She really had no idea why she was explaining herself to Daisuke. Tora supposed that it was because she liked to know about people, and expected the same thing from other people. Exactly why she had asked him his favorite color. "Favorite animal?"
Kiko took a sip of her Coke, and then looked up at Kuri as he spoke. She had a slightly puzzled look on her face, as she had no idea what he just said. Her brain wasn't hardwired for understanding Ye Olde English.
But Kuri grinned, and Kiko looked even more puzzled as she tried to remember what her own name was. 'Dang, I thought that only happened in books and movies,' she thought faintly. She regained composure in a second, though.
But Kiko wasn't going to take that lying down. She's not going to let anyone, even Kuri, one-up her. She tossed her hair over her shoulder and smiled softly up at Kuri. "Could we just go back to regular, today's English language?," she asked lightly.

Daisuke shrugged. "Never really come in contact with animals that much." He thought slightly. The most recent animal he'd come in contact with was Rai, who was a cat. Speaking of which... "I guess it would be cats...? And say...where's Rai?"
Kuri let out a dramatic as he replied, "That's fine with me! I didn't really know what half the stuff I was saying meant either." As he remembered Kiko's smile, he felt his brain bubble slightly, as if it was starting to melt. Hey Doctor? Oh yes, I gotta case of melting brain because I'm near a girl. Know any cures?
Shaking of his case of melting brain, he replied, "Er...translation. Well, you're really higher up, since I;m some pathetic waiter, so wanna make my day by calling me Kuri?" Oh at least, that was what he thought his phrase would translate into. He seriously needed to study some more Shakespeare.

Tora's brow furrowed, as Daisuke asked where Rai was. She looked on the bench next to her, and saw no adorable little furry face. She merely shrugged. "No idea. I thought he was with us, but he's probably wandered off somewhere," she said. "He can take care of himself." 'He'll probably be at home stealing the Oreos I left out on the counter, if mom or dad didn't put them away,' she thought dryly. Rai had a preference for oreos, like Tora.
'Hmmm...That reminds me...,' Tora thought. "What's your favorite sweet?," she asked. Tora's is Oreos. Especially with milk.
Kiko sighed with relief, and then visibly relaxed. "Heh, of course I'll call you Kuri, Kuri," she said, and winked at him. "I'm not too good with Old English. I love reading, but I'm not really a big fan of the classics." She wrinkled her nose as she thought of the dusty books she'd thumbed through a few times, losing interest in a second. Kiko preferred modern, new books about life now.
Kiko looked down for a second. "So, um...," she started, her cheeks reddening slightly. "When do you get off? I'd um, kind of like to do something later..." Kiko mentally smacked herself for sounding so nervous.

Daisuke was, once again, unsure how to answer her question. He always ate whatever was available and had nor real preferences. Perhaps, THAT was why his friends told him he had a dull, bland personality. Who ever thought they'd be right?
Struggling to make something up, he replied, "Ice cream." Well.....how creative. But at least it wasn't a complete lie. He did like ice cream. But like he said, he had no real preferences.
Sighing slightly, he bluntly stated, "My apologies. I'm sure you want a more exciting companion. Like my friends say, my personality tends to be dull, boring, and dreary. I never really have any preferences, so..."
He trailed off, unsure how to end his remark.
Kuri watched as Kiko sounded almost nervous and almost...nervous. How cute... he mentally strangled himself. What kind of man says cute? Oh! The sappy man with no backbone and such. he was unsatisfied with what his mind answered. "Well, I get off in about an hour or so. Maybe after, I can take you out somewhere. Wherever you want. I'll pay." Hmm....not bad as a reply, but somehow, in his ears, it sounded like it had a beat of a marriage proposal like, 'Oh let's get married, what kind of ring do you want!'
He winced internally. He was too young and graced with exceedingly nice looks to be tied down by marriage right now. Not that he'd WANT to get married in the first place. But somehow, the thought of the significant other being Kiko made the idea sound a whole lot better.
