Tora barely smiled. She could see that her interrogations made Daisuke slightly uncomfortable. He probably didn't take much notice of his likes and dislikes when it came to food. Curiosity won out over hospitality.
Tora's eyebrows twitched inward slightly as she tried to decide which question she would ask next. She'd keep them simple, probably not going into too much detail.
Tora nearly grinned. "Really, Daisuke," she said. "I think you're pretty interesting. Maybe your friends just don't notice the little things. But then again, I've always been annoyingly observant." She nearly smiled again. "What flavor of ice cream?" Tora was becoming more relaxed and acting like herself with every passing second.
Kiko sighed with relief, she wasn't nervous anymore. The natural Kiko confidence had come back with Kuri's acceptance to a date. "Well, wherever you want to go is fine with me," Kiko said with a shrug. "I'm not really that picky."
While she pondered this, Kiko's thoughts wandered to the little teddy bear she was sewing at home. Her eyebrows furrowed as she tried to think of where her other needle was. She tilted her head to the right slightly, and asked Kuri a seemingly random question. "Do you like teddy bears?" Her purple eyes were serious.

Daisuke was confused again. First of all, what was ice cream? He supposed that's what he got for eating without reading what it was that he was given.
Still, the word sounded familiar, although he couldn't pinpoint exactly when he'd heard of it. Just to be safe, he simply muttered, "Er....chocolate." After all, chocolate was such a popular flavor that there HAD to be chocolate flavored ice cream, right?
y now, his face held a hint of childish innocence at his sudden interrogation. He felt strangely embarrassed that at ha;fthe questions he was asked, he had to spend nearly a century trying to think of an answer.
Kuri grinned, "I insist, you choose." The sudden question about his preference for teddy bears caught him off guard. Though he really wasn't such a big fan of the plushie-like bears, it was simply because of his male pride. But if Kiko was giving him one....well... He grinned, "If it's from you, I'll love it." And it was true. She could give him a pink dress and he'd still love it, though there was absolutely no guarantee that he was actually going to wear it.
But at the thought of giving, his mind started feeling. What kinds of gifts do girls like? Well, there was always the thought of the sappy gifts that were stuffed animals and bouquets of flowers, but that'd have to wait for when he next saw her, which was hopefully soon.
And just to be safe, he asked her, "Are you allergic to anything?"

Tora wrinkled her nose. "Chocolate?," she asked disdainfully. "That's my absolute least favorite flavor of ice cream. But I love vanilla." Actually, Tora really doesn't like much anything chocolate, except for Oreos. But hey, those things are addictive.
Kria decided at that moment to bring out the food. It was right on time. Tora was beginning to notice Daisuke's uneasiness at being asked so many questions, not that she'd stop anyway. She set down the food with a wink at Tora, and then walked away into the back again. Kria passed by Kuri, and whispered, "If you want to head off early, I'll cover for you. You got sick, okay?"
Tora picked up a french fry from Daisuke's plate and dipped it in some ranch dressing, then popped it into her mouth. "I usually don't eat fries. But once in a while is good," she said, and picked up her fork. She took a bite of her nice, crispy salad and once again looked at Daisuke. "Enjoy your chicken wrap," she said with a smirk.
"Oh, gee...," Kiko trailed off. She thought for a moment. Then, her eyebrows furrowed as she looked through her mini-backpack frantically, finally pulling out a slightly crumpled piece of paper. She held it up. It was a filer. "There's a carnival today," she said, her eyes bright. "You wanna go?"
Kiko tilted her head in slight confusion at the seemingly random question. "Um, I'm allergic to fresh pineapple," she answered. "But cooked I can eat, like in a pineapple upside-down cake or something. My grandma likes to make those..." She trailed off, her dreamy mind wandering again.

Daisuke mentally thanked the waitress for bringing the food. he was beginning to break down from the mini interrogation, seeing as he couldn't answer 99% of what he was asked.
When he saw her smirk, he looked almost with a child-like curiosity at the food he was given. He was never picky, but chicken wrap? Hm...he'd have to remember that. He picked up the wrap and took a bite out of it. He grinned a bit. Out of all the things he'd eaten, this was one of the best things he'd ever had. Though, that was considering he was rarely picky with food in general.
He gave Tora one of the warmest smiles he could muster up, as he muttered, "Thanks."
Kuri grinned as he thanked Kria. What'd he do without her? He made a mental note to never give Kiko a fruit salad or anything....but wen would he ever do that? It was almost comical when he imagined himself randomly going up to her and giving her a freshly picked pineapple (if they were actually picked or however they were gotten).
he looked at the crumpled flier and considered Kiko's offer. True, Kria offered to cover for him, but he did have enough sense to feel some kind of guilt if he simply ditched work to Kria to go off and have fun...but this was just a one-time deal...right? Right.
He self-assured himself as he nodded his head eagerly. He yanked off his black apron, tossing it back in the kitchen as he told Kria, "I'm taking Kiko to the carnival, but I promise I'll pay you back! Someday...umm......somehow. But, thank you and bye!"
He rushed off without hearing her reply, seeing as he was excited. He'd probably have a huge chance of getting fired now, but he'd wait to worry about that AFTER he and Kiko went to the carnival. And everything was all simply because she was worth it. He'd even go as far to say that he'd probably to anything for her.
