"Well spoken," said a voice behind Dekiaki. It was Sen and Kyokki's grandmother. Both girls automaticly bowed their heads in respect for the frail, elderly, but lively matriarch.

She smiled approvingly at the teeneagers standing in front of her.

"What ever my son may say, we would be grateful for any help the Chikara can provide. He's just stubborn."

Sen grinned at her father's expression; Dekiaki looked flabergasted but beaten.

"Of c-course," he stuttered.

Kyokki bowed slightly to the grandmother she had known for so short a time. The woman just waved her away, as if dismissing the group.

"Dekiaki, Michiyo's waiting insie for you. She needs a word."

Kyokki gestured for the Chikara to walk away and follow her.

Naito looked at the old lady and bowed respect he liked this old woman and followed her saying "I am of the chikara clan although we are few we are strong and will do all we can to help my father taught me even the light must be balanced by the darkness there is such a thing as to much pride"

Kyokki smiled at Naito as they walked away.

"You and obaasan really hit it off. I was surprised. She normally terrifies people. At least, from what I've seen."

"That girl..." Amane sighed.

Naito let out a grin and said "pure luck I guess but we should get back before my brother"as he was about to countinue when he heard his brothers flute and thought'aww man he spoted it already'

Aishiteru heard the flute and said "naito you didnt tell hikari you were leaving now did you"

Hikari played a flute leting his siblings know he knew they were gone

It was a half-truth, one that Aishiteru would probably catch. But Kyokki could always hope that Sen wouldn't.

The cousin in question raised an eyebrow at Kyokki, a slight smirk playing across her face. If the vibes she was geting were right...

"Lets go find them," Amane said, and then asked, "What's with the flute?"

Naito sighed and said "how long do you think hikari will be mad or do you think he will try to beat in a battle again"

"I see,' Amane told him, although she was really thinking about the difficulty of memorizing the nuances of that complex a system. These kids were pretty talented, and not just for their age group, either.

"He'd be mad?" Kyokki asked, her tone unintentionally sounding a little skeptic. Bachan would be irritated, of course, but not angry, as long as she knew Kyokki was safe. "Well, I guess that would be a match to see."

"I can see how that would work," Kyokki replied, a little embaressed but for once not red, "He's like my aunt is and father was, then. Except he's playing the big-brother role. You'd think you guys would be a little more careful though. I bet Ai-chan spends forever patching you guys up, huh?"

Aishiteru chuckled and said "last time I spent five days checking on them in intensive care they couldnt move and were still trying to fight those two are worse then cat and dog"

Naito sighed and said "he maybe my brother but somtimes I dont trust his judment he thinks that everything is to dangerious to try anything new "he let out a heavier sigh

"Poor Naito-kun," Kyokki said, sympathetic, but smiling a little, "I can see both sides, though. And I sympathize most with your sister. You two must be grouches after you fight."

She put her hands behind her head, and looked up.

"It's normal for families to fight some, and disagree. Just as long as, in the end, they stick together, and fight for one another. You know, like the old saying 'I can do what ever I want to them or tease them as much as want, or whatever, but no one else better touch them, r we'll all take the offender out."
