[Kyokki Tenkiame]

Kyokki stuck out her tounge at him, while turning red herself. No one ever called her Kyo. She had always insisted that it sounded too much like a boy's name. But maybe, this once, she'd allow it. As long as he didn't call her that in front of bachan, who would tease her until the cows came home or the sun fell from the sky.

Looking down at the ground in order to hide her eyes, something struck her curiosity.

"Where did Sen and Ai-chan go?"


"We both know about Kyokki's story. All of it now. and about Amane. So do Aishiteru's brothers, Chikara Naito and Hikari."

She turned to Aishiteru.

"Do you want to take over?"

naito looked and let out a whistle to his brother he returned by playing some flute music and naito said "they went to go tot alk to someone from what my brother knows and she took Ra also so she should be fine for now"

Aishiteru said "i am not that great at saying things so why dont you tell it"

[Kyokki Tenkiame]

"I wonder..." she mused out loud, wondering where they went. Then she turned back to Naito. "Just don't call me Kyo in front of my aunt, okay?"

She laughed slightly at his puzzled look.

"It's a long story. A VERY long story."

Sen gulped a bit nervously. Her mother Hidama already looked disaproving, but she couldn't read her father's face.

"I know everything that happened to her, daddy" she said, decideing her was her best bet, "and to Mitsukai-bachan."

It felt weird calling her that. Though there were occasional pictures of Mitsukai floating around the clan, and her father had set up a proper shrine in a corner of the house with incense and everything, Mitsukai still seemed a lot like a faceless stranger to her, still. Now she was classified as "Kyokki's mother" in Sen's brain, though.

"The Chikara offered to help Kyokki and Amane."

Naito smiled and said "agreed on one condition dont call me Naito-kun infront of my brother he wont let me live it down and will make fun of me till the day I die"he let out a slight grin

Aishiteru nodded and said "we promised to help them we know that this is wrong so we tend to fix it"

[Kyokki Tenkiame]

Dekiaki and Hidama exchanged cautious looks.

"It's all very well and good that you want to help," Dekiaki told the Aishiteru and his daughter slowly, "And we reslly appreciate the concern. Heaven knows we worry for Kyokki and my nechan's sister-in-law as well."

Hidama looked like she had sometyhing to say to that, but she kept quiet and let her husbad do the talking.

"But, no offense intended, Chikara-san, you're just children. Especially you, Sen. You're only thirteen. How do you intend to change the council's mind about any of this, when even the elders of our family can't do anything? And you certianly can't confront Amegakure's goverment."

"I promise," Kyokki told him, and then...

"So, are you going to that festival?"

Aishiteru said "out father use to help the council and they promised to trust our judment our father deid sevral years ago but our mother also holds some wait with them and if we convince the council we will be able to convince the goverment"

Naito smiled and said "maybe if I can find someone to go with"he let out a grin

[Kyokki Tenkiame]

Dekiaki seemed skeptic.

"I'm sorry for your loss. If you don't mind my asking, who are your mother and father? Is it possible I might have heard of either of the two of them?"

Hidama glared at him, clearly angry he was dragging this out.

Kyokki turned a brilliant red. She knew what she wanted to say, but she couldn't bring herself to. She was still pretty shy, no matter how comfortable this family made her feel.

Amane smiled and laughed quietly. She put a hand on Hikari's shouler, and subtley pointed out the two teens.

He nodded and said "well well well two love birds in a tree"he ment this as a joke and laughed a little and said "hopeful my brother knows what he is getting in to girls can be a handful from what im told"

Naito blushed red saying "well if I cant find anyone I will just take Aishiteru and be there"

Aishiteru blushed saying "well I was never told my father or mothers name but my mother is still alive"

[Kyokki Tenkiame]

"I'd...like to go" the last part came out as a slight squeak. Kyokki tried to find somewhere to rest her eyes as she waited for his reply. No good. Amane and Hikari were grinning up...at..them

She swore mentally. She didn't really think it was possible for her face to get anymore flushed... unless she was going to turn violet.

Dekiaki looked surprised. He didn't a anything right away, but Sen could see the question in his face.

Naito smiled and said "Well umm would you mind going with me then"he blushed as his brother looked at him he felt kinda mad but yea he didnt show it"well would you like to"he grined

Hikari laughed saying "I havnt seen that boy ever get that red around a girl"he laughed a little harder saying "is she use to being that flushed"

[Kyokki Tenkiame]

She nodded in agreement.

"I'd like that. Why don't we go check up on Ai-chan and Sen... I kind of want to get away from Amane-bachan?"

Amane smiled, eyes lit by amusment.

"No, I've never seen her blush that hard. I swear, her father would kill me right now for not intervening." The last part was said bittersweetly.

Naito smiled saying "well then lets us a gen jutsu to make them not follow us"he formed sevral hand signs and said "false suroundings technquie"the world looked the same as he slid down a tree making it look like they were still in the tree talking he gave her a signal saying "we would be gone before they notice"

[Kyokki Tenkiame]

Kyokki grinned at him, and cautously climbed down from the tree, making sure to stay out of Hikari and Amane's line of sight.

"We can take the back exit," she whispered. Noislessly, she lead him to the back gate. Once they were outside, she stretched.

"It'll take a little longer to get there this way, but it's worth it to avoid those two right now."

Sen bit her lip.

"Dad. what is it, excatly your saying?"

Naito nodded and said "lets get going the jutsu will last maybe ten minuets but yea lets get moving"he ran around from the grove to see if he recognized any of the streets

Hikari looked at the two and walked closer saying "somthing dosnt seem right"he looked aroun carefully observing what was going on

Aishiteru had a curious look on her face

"Lets hurry, then," Kyokki replied, and lead the way. She weaved through the streets, thankfully with out any wrong turns. A few curious relatives, none of whoms names she could remember, attempted to stop her, but she just waved and smiled politely, dragging Naito foreward. The came upon her Aunt and Uncle's house just as Dekiaki was about to say something.

"Hey Ai-chan, Sen...falcon"

"Ah," Dekiaki blinked, "nice to see you Kyokki-chan. I was just talking to your cousin, and Chikara-san."

"What I mean Sen, is we're of course grateful for any help we can get. But frankly, I'm not expecting too much out of either goverment."


Amane stood up as well.
"What do you mean?"
