Naito walked back and as her brother walked back she punched him in the back of the head saying "Idiot you should know better then to take risks if you messed up you would be dead and there would be no way to stop that attack"

Hikari as he approached was hit to and w as told"and you shouldnt have gone that far"

Kyokki gave them both furious looks.

"That," she told them with forced calm, "is something I'd like to file under completely and totaly unnessacary.


Amane knew they had better pacify her raging little niece soon, or else. Kyokki was timid enough in a normal situation. But her bad temper was of both Hisakata and Tenkiame fame. This would be interseting.

Kyokki turned red at that one and looked to the ground again, as she tended to do when embaresed, and, though she wouldn't amit it, she was a little selfishly pleased. But her voice came out firm.

"It's not something to use against your own blood," Amane finished before she could continue, "Next time you should try to stick to fists. Jutsu aren't toys. And part of 'growing up' is learning that. For both of you."

She knew just as well as Kyokki that in reality, she had no standing to even bring this up. It really wasn't her buisness what these brothers did, and the chances they would actually listen to her were slim.

But past and present and Amane's hopes for the future all merged together in her brain, and she had been compelled to say something. Reality was much less of a factor in this state of mind than you would think.

Kyokki didn't know what to say. That seemed to often be the case nowadays.
"Remember it, then," Amane warned.

As grown up as they are, they're still children. They're shinobi, so they've had to bear burdens beyond their age. But they're still just children. she thought

Kyokki fixed her attention on Naito.

"Would you walk with me, if it's okay?"

She turned her back and started walking with out waiting for his answer. If he didn't want to, or couldn't follow, she had a feeling Sen would accompany her, just to escape the akwardness.

Naito nodded and turned to hisbrother and hikari gave him a thumbs up and said "just so long as your home before the full moon"he chuckled and took aishiteru hand and ran off

Naito quickly took chase to keep up kyokki and said "where would you like to go to"he had no Idea where they were going or what was going to happen

Kyokki shrugged. She wasn't really sure. surprisingly, now that she could talk to Naito openly the way she had planned, she found she really didn't want to say anything at all. She was like that, a lot of the time. Another thing that must be genetic.

"Look, I'm sorry I've been so moody today..." she told Naito-kun finally as they walked rather aimlessly. She was in one of her darker frames of mind now, feeling slightly distant. She hoped he'd either accept it, or help move her back past it.

Naito smiled and placed a small kiss on her cheek and said "Dont worry about it we all have our days like that"he placed his hands behind his head as he walked along side her he then let down his head and said "sorry I got into the fight with hikari he somtimes gets that way and we end up in a fight"

"I wasn't my place to get angry at you for it," Kyokki told him as she reached for his hand, "But I did. I just hate to see people fighting. It sometimes seems like that's all we can ever do."

She sighed. To be honest, she had been afraid. Is seemed like she was always that way. She had grown up largely sheltered, and now nothing made sense anymore.

"Where do you want to go?"

Naito grabbed her hand and smiled saying "why waste going some where lets just walk and be together if we see somthing we will go if you want"he smiled as he looked at the sky holding her hand carefully and said "if you want lets find somewhere nice to sit and talk"he blushed a little he rarely was alone with people

Kyokki smiled back at him.

"Yeah," she agreed, and then started to focus in on the noise of the street ans the silence that hung between them. It wasn't the awkard, frayed kind of silence she normally found herself in. It was just...comfortable.

She looked up at the sky, and saw clouds starting to gather. To a normal person, it would be depressing, but for a former Ame nin, it was something to lighten the mood. She hadn't heard a good round of thunder in a while.

"What's your favorite phrase?" Kyokki asked. It sounded more random then it really was.
