He looked at the bottle of water and smiled he took it and opened it he took two cups from his bag and poured half the bottle into each he gave her one of them and took the other himself and said "you must be thirsty drink up"he took small sips his body extremly weak but he slowly became stronger every moment that he sat there he has always recovered quickly

[Kyokki Tenkiame]

Kyokki took the cup hesitently.

"You need it more," she tried to protest, rain still streaming down her face. She was embarresed that she was the reason he had put so much strain on himself. Why couldn't she just climb down on her own two feet, like any normal kunoichi? She swore mentally as she watched him drink, and then turned her face back to the sky.

"I can drink the rain if I get thirsty.

He smiled chuckling but then coughed a little and said "As can I"he saw a small plant where the water was runing off he placed the bottle underneath its stream and it filled quickly he then placed his cup there and filled it he drank some more and felt better he looked up at the sky and said "the source of life saves us even when we dont know it"

Getting the point, Kyokki quenched her own thirst. She listened to his cough with concern.

"You didn't answer my question. Are you okay. Naito-kun?"

She rocked slightly back and forth on her heels, waiting for his reply a bit anxiously. Kyokki alway worried too much, but right now, it might be worth it.

Her fingers were getting slightly muddy from resting on the ground, but she didn't care.

He had a small smile upon his face and said"I am fine just my throat was dry "he took abother drink of water and said "are you okay?I dont need you hurt"he had a small grin on his face as he looked towards the sky he was never afraid of much she wasnt worried unless it was somone he cared for

"Don't worry, I'm fine. Just, well, worrying about you. Now I know how Ai-chan must feel. To an extent, anyway, huh? Can you stand at all?"

She hoped she wouldn't have to go get Hikari or Ai-chan. Especially when she had no clue where they were. She might be able to fin his mother, of course, buut it wasn't a conversationshe was looking foreward to.

He smiled as he drew his katana from his back he used it as a brace and tood on his feet slowly and said "can you?"he extended his hand his body still slightly weak but still powerful enough to walk he opened his mouth and got some more water from the sky he was feel stronger and more ready to be able to fight again

[Kyokki Tenkiame]

"Yeah. I made it down with out incident," she wished she could help brace him, but they'd probably both collapse.

"Do you want to go home? I'll walk with you, if you want. Or go find your brother and sister."

She pulled herself up, shaking out her slightly tense leg muscles. Kyoki would walk with himany where he needed to go, just to make sure he got there okay.

He smiled and said "why go home yet.Why dont we go and grab a bite to eat so thats why we can regain our strength once again"he took her hand and pulled her saying"or we can go anywhere you like ill pay for it so we can eat what ever you like"he had a smile on his face that showed like the sun

[Kyokki Tenkiame]

Kyokki adjusted her pace to match his and smiled back, glad he was okay.

"I'm still kind of full from earlier. But you need to eat so you don't collapse on me again, and I wouldn't mind getting something other than water to drink. Lead the way, Naito-kun."

She let her fingers intertwine with his as they started to walk again.

"That is if anyone will even let us in, wet as we are."

He smiled as he walked towards the bar and said"well hopefully he wont mind"as he approached the bar he said "I am more thirst then hungry would you like to try the tea shop down the street instead?"he wanted to do somthing nice he wasnt hungry anyway he could always eat when he got home besides knowing his mother she was making stew

"Hopefully. Yeah, I'd like that a lot.... Man, do I really say that as often as i think I do? Hopefully not."

Hot tea sounded really did sound good. It was relaxing, and would warm her up. She had no problem being cold in the rain, but once she got inside, she knew she would want to be warm. She hoped she had a comb, or her hair would dry tangled.

He looked up into the rain and said to himself not realizing he was saying it out loud"why does my heart betray me making me fall in love I never asked it to.I feel for a girl because she was kind in a world that rejected me.My heart so weak with its age makes me fall when I do not wish to.My curse this is upon my heart to never control it as it slowly kills me"Naito secretly had heart problems not known to his brother or sister only to his mother and it showed in how people treated him.

"N-Naito-kun?!" Kyokki stopped dead, as he talked. She had a feeling he didn't know he was speaking aloud. Her hand in his tightened its grip.

"Naito-kun... the fall...your heart?!" she demanded again.

She hoped to God above in all his mercy that Naito-kun was speaking figuratively. The other part of his words seemed to go in one ear andd out the other, but her sbconcious stored them away for later.
