"Almost forgot." Yuo couldn't help but chuckle. "I thought you wanted her to stay out there. If you hadn't have reminded me she probably would've been out there for quite a long time." Yuo smiled, nuzzling Haruka's cheeks. "But yes, we'll get her out. Without her flirting this time." he said. "She'll be so mad she won't even want to dare flirt with me." Yuo laughed again. "How badly damaged do you think her leg will be? It sure serves her right though. You can't just flirt with some guy who already has a girlfriend!"

Haruka rolled her eyes. "I may hate her, but i would never sink to so low a level as to leave her out there all day..." she said, grimacing at the idea of her parents nagging on her about. 'It was all your falt!' 'Riiko is delicate! Now look what you've done!' Those shrill voices would never escape her memory. When was that anyway? When they were three? "And as i told you before, that's he whole game..." she said. "She's trying to take something that's... unattainable... it's all just a game to her..." she sighed. "But, anyway, we'll run out there after we look through the trunk."

Yuo nodded. "Then maybe after getting hurt she'll get the idea that I don't want to play her silly game." he said, pulling Haruka a bit closer. "I'm not a toy if she hasn't figured it out. I'm a human being who doesn't need some flirt intruding on a very nice relationship." he stamped his foot lightly. "I'm in a relationship with you and if some flirt comes intruding on it. She's going to find herself getting patched up more often." Yuo stopped and sighed. "Sorry, I'm going overboard aren't I?"

Haruka shook her head slowly, smiling up at him, her eyebrows drawn together in impression. "No... actually, it's kind of nice..." They exited the woods and came back out onto the packed, dirt pathway, down which she verded to the right in the direction of the house. "It only proves even more than already has that you care." she smiled widely. "And personally... i wouldn't mind seeing Riiko in a hospital bed... in a full body cast..." she snickered darkly at the picture in her head. "Cruel things to wish on a person... but yeah..."

Yuo couldn't help but laugh as he stuck close to Haruka. "I use to imagine all the people I hated when I was young in a full body cast. I was tempted to do it sometimes too. Keep in mind I was just an Academy Student." he chuckled. "But for once I'm serious. If she doesn't stop flirting with me, she will be in a hospital bed." Yuo was about to cross his arms, but he stopped, suddenly remembering that he was snuggled with Haruka. He nuzzled her cheek again. "I will do anything to get everyone away so I can be with you."

Haruka could not help but laugh at his this comment. It was ironic sometimes how many things, both good and some bad, they had in common. She blushed lightly as he nuzzled her cheek again and spoke. "That's very flattering but... i really don't understand why you like to spend time with me..." she shrugged, indifferntly. "I'm not really that interesting or anything. And i'm a pain part of the time to deal with..." she sighed. "I don't see how you could stand it... well, obviously because you love me... but..." she trailed off, unsure of how to finish.

"A pain, but not always." Yuo said. "You're kind, and loving. You don't care about how I look, I love you, and, I've never felt so important in my entire life." he said. "When I'm with you. I feel like I'm on the top of the world. I feel like I'm the same as everyone else, a simple black pupil and not as much of a clutz. And when I'm not with you, I guess I feel like a speck of dirt. I love the thrill of happiness!" he exclaimed happily. "Both of us."

Haruka looked down. He always had this ability to embarassing with his words. Maybe it was because no one ever said anything like this about her. At least, not in her presence. "Both of us?" she repeated. This was the only phrase he had said that confused her. It did not tie in at all with the rest of the comments. "What do you mean by that..." she looked up, her eyes curious as they had always been as they probed his, almost as if hoping to find the answer to her question there.

"Both of us are happy." Yuo said. "I'm happy because I have you. And, you're happy because you have me, am I right?" he asked, looking back at her, his blue eyes shining brightly. "Both of us are happy. Or at least, I'm pretty sure you're happy." he smiled softly. Yuo looked ahead of them. "Do you think it'll take us a long time to look through the trunk? If it you don't think it will, we could just linger a bit. I mean, get back some of those lost memories for you." he said.

"Oh... the context you said it in was confusing..." she said with a laugh. "So, yeah, you're right... somewhat..." she smirked kirkily up at him. "I'm not happy. I'm thrilled. There's a big difference in the levels." she laughed again as the continued down the road and finally reached the front door of the house. "There's alot of things in that trunk Yuo." she explained. "It could talk anywhere from a half hour to two hours... depending on how much we actually look over theroly..." she smiled. "We only looked at two things... and that whole trunk is full.. there's alot still there."

"Just asking." Yuo said as he reached over and opened the door, pullig Haruka in gently. "So let's start." he said, sitting down on the ground, waiting for Haruka to come and sit down and start looking through the trunk. "Uh, hey Haruka? Where's Shizuke? Didn't you tell her to rest her ankle and not move around too much?" he asked, looking around. "And she's definately not sitting here." he pointed out, suddenly slightly worried that I may have run off with my ankle and what not. 'Uh oh.' he though, looking around worriedly, very worriedly.

Haruka quickly rushed to his side to see if what he said was true. And it was. Shizuke was not on the couch, where she had been told to remain. She hit her head. "That girl can be so bull headed sometimes..." she mumbled.
Haruhi walked out of the laundry room down the hall, a basket of now clean laundry in her arms. "Thanks for your help, Shi-chan." she called over her shoulder and inside where they had been working. "I've never done the laundry so quickly."

"You have a point there." Yuo said. "She can be." he said.
I limped after Haruhi. My ankle felt a bit better, due to the fact that for most of the time I was sitting with the ice, now melted, on my ankle. I smiled happily at her. "No problem Haruhi." I said. "I love helping out around the house at home. I grew up learning to cook and clean. So, I've had tons and tons of practice." I said proudly. I suddenly caught sight of Yuo and Haruka, and I knew I was going to be in major trouble.

Haruka shook her head in disappointment, quickly walking over to Shizuke and slipping her arm over her own shoulder to support her a bit better. "You should be sitting, not hopping around like a fool..." she grumbled as she escorted her back to the couch. Haruhi blinked in confusion. "She seemed fine the whole time to me. Didn't complain about pain once..." she shrugged. "I got to go get this stuff in the dressers so, i'll be back in a bit." With that word, she walked down the hall the Ling's room. Haruka lowered Shizuke onto the couch. "I should probably check it..." she said as she reached out her hand to undo the wrap.

I sighed. "Haruka!" I exclaimed. "It's fine! Really! I just went to help Haruhi do the laundry, I didn't walk at all! I sat on the floor helping her sort the laundry!" I exclaimed, wincing now that she was undoing the wrap. "I had the ice on it the entire time and it was feeling much better than before!" I said.
Yuo just stared at me. He stood up and sat by me, putting his arm around my shoulders. "Shizuke, were you not listening to Haruka?" he asked. "Yes I was! But I got bored and I thought helping Haruhi would be a nice thing to do!" I exclaimed.
