Haruka kept her eyes on her work as she finished undoing the wrap around Shizuke's ankle. "It doesn't matter if she did what i said or not." she said, softly tracing her fingers over Shizuke's ankle to feel the areas that had previously been swelled. "I just want to check and see what has improved... It wouldn't hurt at all right now if you had followed the R.I.C.E concept..." she sighed. "Rest, ice, compression, elevation... it's simple..." She continued looking over her foot. "It looks much better though. The back of the heal is a pit bruised though..."

I crossed my arms angrily. "I barely even walked on it. After you two left I stood at the window putting no pressure at all on my ankle, then I asked Haruhi if I could help her with the laundry and she said I could so I went with her to the laundry room and sat down on the ground." I said. "Then I did as se wanted me to, sort the laundry into piles. I put the ice on my ankle and just sat there working." I said. Yuo just rolled his eyes. "Oh give it a break Shizuke!" he exclaimed. "No you give it a break Yuo! You freak out over one simple injury, when you've had tons and tons!"

"But you still refused to follow Elevation..." she told her calmly. "If you had kept your foot up, it wouldn't hurt as badly because there would be less blood flow to the area." she released Shizuke's foot, placing it gently back into a normal possition. "Do you need me to wrap it again, or would you prefer to take a break from one?" she asked kindly as she looked up to her. She always considered her patients opinions when deciding on their treatments. It was the easiest way to find what would work best for them.

I bit my lip and winced. "Please do it up again." I said, trying to sound like I wasn't in so much pain. "If you hadn't have touched my foot I would've been fine." I mumbled under my breath. Yuo kept his arm around me and I had to literally bury myself in his chest to just stop myself from screaming. My ankle was fine, until was messed around with. Yuo was rubbing my back, and looking at Haruka. "Haruka, it's hurting her." he mouthed. Yuo looked at me, slightly concerned, even thought I was so persistant on the fact that I was fine.

Haruka rolled her eyes, hating to be depicted as the bad guy here. Someone was going to have to touch it eventually. It was her own fault after all for spying on their room. If she wanted to see Yuo, all she would have had to do was come and knock on their door. Not chance of injury in the scenario. Looking to Yuo, she nodded, her face set in a deep frown of annoyance. "I can see that..." she mouthed back, snorting slightly. It was quite obvious. It was so badly bruised, there was no way it wouldn't hurt. Slowly, she began rewrapping the ankle, not as tight as she had before, so as not to cause much pain. "Do you need more ice?" she asked once she had finished.

I looked at Haruka and swallowed. I shook my head. "No thank you." I said, moving my ankle a bit. Now that it had been rewrapped, it was feeling a tad bit better than it had before Haruka had freaked out. "I'll just go upstairs and work on my sewing until I have to come down." I said. I fidgeted out of Yuo's somewhat tight hold and slid to the edge of the couch. I stood up, putting the same amount of minimal weight on it as I limped away.
Yuo watched me until I disappeared, then he looked to Haruka. "I think she's going to develop a grudge on you." he said.

Haruka shot Yuo an intensive glare, standing and sitting on the far edge of the couch away from him. "If that's the thanks i get for trying to be helpful..." she mumbled under her breath, trailing off for a moment. This was rideculous. If she was trying to help why should she be viewed as hateful. She had not even flipped out; she had been calm through out the entire process, maybe a little bit pushy and forceful, but never freaking out. And now Yuo was picking sides. And he was siding against her at that. "Is she feels like holding a grudge that's her choice... fine..." she shook her head.

Yuo looked at Haruka oddly. He reached over with is hand to touch her shoulder gently. "Hey Haruka? Are you ok?" he asked, moving over a bit more, trying to take Haruka's hand. "I'm sure Shizuke appreciates it, but, she's not one to be cared for much." he said. "I mean, I'm not trying to take sides, really, I'm not, but you did kind of freak when she came down the hall." Yuo pointed out. "You were right there and holding her up, yet, she looked perfectly fine, in no pain or anything." Yuo decided to be quiet now.

Haruka stared out the window, his words seeming very distant to her right now as she tried to block him out. "Yuo, I am inclined to care... i'm training to be a doctor. And it's an instinct i've had since i was a kid." she looked at him from the corner of her eye quickly, her eyes fierce and angry. "So, excuse me for being a caring person..." She quickly yanked her hand from anywhere near his reach. He may have said that he was not, but it was completely obvious that he was siding with his sister, whether he realized it or not.

Yuo drew back, his eyes wide and shocked. He swallowed hard. "I guess I should just leave you to relax." he said, his hand placing in his lap sadly. "When you're ready to look through the chest just call me. I'm going to get a drink then I'll go upstairs and leave you alone." he said as he walked off into the kitchen. He poured himself a bit of water, drank it quickly then pretty much ran up the stairs. He didn't once look at her while he ran. Yuo clammered up into his room and shut the door.

Haruka slammed her head down on the arm of the chair, trying to clear her thoughts as she heard him stumble quickly up the stairs and into his room. Hopefully she had not upset him too much with this one little thing. She just despised being hated and looked down on for whatever reason. It just took her back to that time when she was so disrespected by everyond around her. And Shizuke's little 'grudge' as Yuo had called it, was not helping in the slightest. He never should have even mentioned it if he were smart. But, she could not blame him. It was not as if he knew what or what not upset her.

Yuo went and laid on his bed, almost hurt by Haruka's words. He didn't know why, he had no clue why she had talked to him like he was, what he would think, a piece of a dirt. He was almost in tears thinking about it. "What did I do?" he asked himself. "I just, I mean. She's caring and I love it." He turned and sat up, his head in his knees. "I love her caring side. I fell in love with that side too, not just her stubborn side that showed how strong she was."

The front door suddenly opened, Haruka heard, and in came Ling, walking into the living room with an inoscent look on his face as he entered. "Hey, Haruka." he said in his normal friendly tone. Looking around he quirked an eyebrow. "Where's Yuo? I figured you two would be inseperable after... certain events..." he shrugged. Haruka sighed. "Well... Yuo's upstairs... letting me cool down..." she said, looking away again. This was awful. Ling sighed, placing one hand on her shoulder in a comforting gesture. "I'll go talk to him if you want..." he offered her. Lightly, she nodded, giving him one meek smile.
With the approval, Ling went upstairs to Yuo's room. He knocked. "Yuo-san?" he called in, "Are you alright... can i come in?"

Yuo jumped up and stumbled to the door. His hair was slightly messy and his face was red and slightly damp. "What is it Ling?" he asked, trying not to sound upset. He went back and sat down on the bed, his face in his hand. "I wish I had never told I wasn't going to leave!" he said suddenly. "I said something wrong, I don't know what. Then she snapped at me, like I was dirt." he swallowed hard. "I feel like a kid again. All the stares and the way they talked to me. IT's scary."

Ling quirked his eyebrow. "Haruka asked me to come and check on you for her..." he told him gently, thinking that Yuo's reply had implied that he was aloud entry. So, quietly, he creaked open the door and walked over to his bed, sitting on the floor in front of him. "She said you came up here to let her cool off... I'm sorry that you feel like she was cruel but when Haruka does that it just means she's covering something worse up..." he imformed him. "Something maybe that's influencing the action. Think... what's something related to the incident that's she's been through... You should knwo better than me."
