At first Kota was surprised it worked. As a plan, it was a little shaky, but it had worked. Although, now he felt as if he had gone a little too far. He watched her cringe in pain at the burns on her legs. He quickly changed his mind as he watched her next feat. He looked at her with admiration as she slowly guided water from a past unseen source, and apply it to her legs. "I'm sorry, that was a little extreme fro a sparring match," he said, feeling foolish for apologizing to his opponent. He waited, allowing her to finish mending her burns. He felt he owned Haruka some respect, since it was a friendly duel. He wouldn't attack her when she wasn't looking.

Haruka looked up from her work at him in surprise. Any other opponent would have taken atvantage of such a situation. She could not help but smile. "You're very... different..." she said kindly. "And don't worry about the burns... they just singed through my socks a bit. Besides, i'm used to it..." Finishing off her healing process, she guided the water with her hand back into her water pouch at her side. "Feel free to start again whenever you are ready." she offered him.

"Glad to hear you're fine," he said happily. Then he paused. "I guess I'll take you calling me different as a compliment." He stashed the kunai which had remained in his hand through the past few events, feeling he didn't need it. "I'll tell you what," he said playfully, "I won't use anymore explosives. Agreed?" He would keep to his word, but he wondered how many more tricks he had. He couldn't win on luck alone, and he had been fairly lucky thorugh this sparring match. He wondered if there was a way to use his jutsu, but he couldn't see any water nearby. He nodded as he made a decision. He started into a head long dash at Haruka once again, this time jumping into the air, trying to tackle her.

Haruka shrugged, bringing up her fists again in a defensive possitioning. Now that her elemental possetion actvated, she needed to take advantave of it. "Agreed. But don't hesitate to use it as a last resort." she urged him. "I completely understand that..."
He came on in another charge, jumping up and coming from above. She had already dispersed her clones, allowing them to once again form into the earth till she decided to inact the jutsu again. Motioning her hands in a rounding movement, she pulled up some of the ground at her feet into a sheild over the top of her her, leaving the sides open so she could escape if need be. If he continued on his tackle, he would land onto of the suspended earth shield.

He frowned as he saw her shield come up out of the ground. Unable to stop he lightly touched down, and jumped back off, landing behind her.He should have known achieving his goal would be more difficult then it had seemed. He paused as tried to think of a way to achieve his unsaid goal. He had no idea how he was supposed to succeed, but he had to continue trying if he was to put himself at an equal standing with his opponent. He needed his jutsu, and this was the only way he could use them, other than run and hoping to find a water source. He quickly drew two kunai and paused as the muscles in his left arm spasmed. He remembered the shuriken wound he had recieved earlier in the fight. He hoped she hadn't seen the look he had had on his face, but it didn't matter. He had decided to risk everything to get the ability to use his jutsu. "Ya know," he said tauntingly, "It feels like we've been fighting in turns. And I think it's your turn." He took a defensive stance, a look of determination on his face. "Your turn, Haruka..."

Haruka could hear a small patter above her as Kota landed on her shield and gave a deep sigh of relief. She lowered it and again, leaving a small hump in the ground were it had risen, and turned to face him, noticing now that he had two mor kuani knifes drawn. Smirking at him cocky attitude, Haruka pulled her water from her pouch again, finding it, and the earth just around here as her best resorces.
"Very well then." she said, coming on in a charge, her water stretched out in a long, skinny style, like a whip almost. In her motion to have it out reach at Kota, she extended her right arm, using her chakra infused within it move the liquid in his direction. She had it wrap itself tightly around his ankle. "No esape..." she murmured.

He made note of the earth mound, just so he wouldn't trip over it. Haruka's next move was so fluid that he still didn't know how it had happened. First he saw her smile, and the next he felt a slight tug on his right ankle. He looked down quickly, and realized that he was out matched no matter what he did. She had such ability with chakra control that she could actually use the water as a snare. He had hoped to get her water pouch from her before she could use it, and use it himself. But he had wasted too much time. Now he was trapped and it would be to difficult to steal control of her water. He made a rash and quick decision. He threw one kunai at her water skin, hoping to destroy it so she would lose her water jutsu if she released her chakra from it. "That was what I was after, but atleast this should keep you from using your earth jutsu," he said, more to comfort himself than anything else.

Haruka's strand of water was broken, just by the intercepted conection by the kunai. She cursed under her breath as the bottom half, attached to his ankle dropped to the ground, soaking into the dirt. The top half remained in her control and she pulled it back, holding it suspended as she waited for his response.
She could not help but start laughing as his comment. "What? Trying to cut off my connection? You'll have little success if you do that." she grinned. "You really don't understand my jutsu at all. If you would not object i would be kind enough to explain it. It's confusing, even to me, but i get the jest of it." she offered.

Kota had completely missed the water skin, but she had lost her cincentration long enough that he had been freed. He thanked his lucky stars as he felt the water release him. Her offer of explaining her jutsu was intriguing. "People who can use jutsus of different elements are rare. But, I don't think you just want to explain, and I won't learn much by just hearing. I think a lesson in practical use would be best." He smiled excitedly, "If you want to..." He hadn't meant it in a taunting way, but it was a duel. And he really did want to see two elemental jutsu used by a skilled person. He put the last reamining kunai back into his sash. "I better be ready to dodge, though. I have a feeling this is going to be quite a show." He stood ready to dodge anything she had, his muscle tense with anticipation.

Again she laughed. "No no no. You clearly don't understand..." she said, holding the bridge of her nose with her free hand while the other kept her only source of weaponry at them moment, her water, suspended. "My jutsu is very different from any other elemental jutsu. It's a possestion. Only a few have can do it. It's like a kekkei genkai, only it's not hereditary." She looked back up, noticing his tense possitioning, and it was clear he was ready for any surprise attacks, which she did not intend to pull out at the moment. "Chillax, Kota... I'm not that kind of fighter..." she assured him.
She went on with her explaination. "Anyway, my jutsu involves the activating of a special chakra pathway. I can manipulate any element to my liking. Any of the five. Though i have not gotten fire or lightning down very well..." she grinned sheepishly. "Anyway, i'm sure this is boring you, I suppose that a demonstration is in order." she gave him a gesture. "Go ahead... attack me... then i'll pull something new out..."

Chillax, huh?he thought to himself. He smiled to her. "I'm glad I met you. Not everyday you meet special people like you." He frowned, "But I'm afraid I don't understand your elemental possession, but I do know that it must take alot of chakra though..." He did understand it somewhat, but the theory of using it was confusing. She could use her chakra to manipulate the natural elements to her will, almost like a puppet. "I'm guessing it's not something so easily taught, but let's see if you can teach me..." He looked down to his foot and saw the water stain on the ground. He smiled and looked back to her. "But first, let me try something." He started his hand signs as he readied his jutsu. Out of the corner of his eye, he could see the water stain trembling and start to move towards Haruka. He averted his eyes and back on Haruka. "I may not be able to use other elements, but I'm fairly confident about my water jutsus," he said as he continued his hand signs. As he finished he said the name of his jutsu, "Water Constrictor Jutsu!" The water stain, which was now close enough to Haruka, lunged like a mud-brown snake at her. Now all Kota could do was hope it would catch her off guard...

Haruka shook her head, politely. "Sorry, it can't be taught..." she said politely. "It's like a kekkei genkai, but it's completely random and not passed down in a family. My theory is that it's a genetic mutation. But-" she was surprised as he suddenly began hand signs. That could not be a good sign. She did not recognize them as any familiar jutsu, so she kept a close eye on her surroundsings.
'Water Constrictor?' she thought to herself. But her question was quickly answered as the small amount of water from her own weaponry was being used against her. It was squeezing around her torso area, pinning her arms down to her sides. She groaned, gritting her teeth in frustration. 'IF i can just...' she thought as she tried to create some friction between her fingers in a snapping motion. If she could get enough, maybe she could get this water off of her.
Finally, she got a spark, which was more than enough to get her own bit of fire going. A small flame in here hand, outturned away from her body, she tossed it up, hoping to have it colide with the water. This attempt was successful. If she was correct, the water would evaporate once contact was made with the heat, and she would be released from her boundes.

Kota felt like jumping in joy as her watched her body be surrounded by the small amount of water. He had successfully used his jutsu, and it had even done its job correctly. But his joy was quickly overshadowed as he watched her start a small fire in her hand. "No you don't," he said as her started a frontal attack, feeling a counterattack almost unlikely. "Sorry, Haruka. But I gotta make this one count," he said throwing a kick at her with all of his might. If he had taken the time to think, he would have know that she was close to escaping, but his enthusiam had drowned out his commonsense.

Haruka squirmed in her binds again, desperately trying to make the flame hotter or larger. Either one would do. 'Combust, dammit, combust!' she screamed in her eyes, focusing as much as she possibly could on the flame. Fire was definetly not one of the fortays of her manipulations of the elements. That more so seemed to circulate aroudn water and earth.
He was charging now, and now she was getting desperate, so she thought it best to think of a thought that angered her in hopes that this might fuel the fire in her hand. Her father, the despicable human being, her rival, Ikara, her sister who had turned trator on her. All of these things caused her brow to furrow in rage.
To her delight, the fire sprung in her hand, hitting the water and evaporating it would burn a rope. Shimmying slightly to undo the rest of the water, she brought up her hands, prepared to defend from his kick. She brought up two hand to stop it just before it hit her in the gut, but she was hit somewhat through her hands from the force. "Too... bad..." she muttered, feeling a slight pain in her stomach. Despite this she endured and twisted his ankle to the side, hoping to force him into and uncomfortable flamingo like possition facing away from her.

A stone dropped in his stomach as she escaped and had stopped his attack. Her grip on his foot seemed to tighten and she twisted it, making his ankle feel like it would snap. He tried to hold back a yell as the she began crushing his foot, and twisting it beyond what was supposed to be possible. He looked it to her face and a shiver went down his spine. The pure hatred and anger that was etched on her face was all to evident. He whimpered slightly as she twisted even further. He tried to stand on his tiptoes to allieviate some of the pain, but that only furthered his awkward positioning. "Damn, dood...... That's not what I thought would happen..." he said, trying not to show weakness by showing pain. He could think of no means of escape and only hoped he would still be able to stand once he had escaped her grasp.
