Konoha Sun (Haruka)

[Haruka Kunimitsu]

Haruka nodded in agreement yet again. "I know Evenescence. Their music is good, but some of it is a bit too dark for my tastes." She crumpled up her empty bag and tossed it, along with the apple core, into the garbage can on the right of the bench. "As for Utada, i've heard some of her music, like Passion as well as Sakura Drops. I think she's considered... J-pop? Yeah, J-pop." she shrugged. "I like her music, but i have never purchased on of her CDs."

[Kyokki Tenkiame]

"Okay then, we ave similar taste in the fine arts it seems- literature, music, and, of course, food," Kyokki smiled lightly at her own joke, and finished off her grapes. She looked to see if Haruka was done. She had a sudden urge to move about.

"Have you ever been traveling out of Konoha, after moving here, I mean?"

She waited for Haruka's response.

Haruka nodded, noticing that Kyokki was finished with her food also now. "Well, yeah. I just recently went back home, to the Land of Tea. Tiny town just south of here." she explained. "And i've also been to Suna, Kiri, and Kumo. That's it though." she shrugged. "What about yourself? I think you said you used to live..." she trailed off, feeling stupid for not remembering.

[Kyokki Tenkiame]

"...In Amegakure," Kyokki supplied as she stood up, "but I've been a lot of places- Konoha, Suna, Yuki, Kumo, Kiri, Kinu no Kuni. My aunt was a stage actress, so we traveled a whole lot. We always went back home for holidays and birthdays, though, if we could manage it in any way. Never went to the Land of tea though. I'll have to visit sometime... once again, after I'm off proation and can travel again."

[Haruka Kunimitsu]

"That's... alot of traveling..." Haruka replied with a grin. "I've only been traveling in the last... eh... year or so. It's pretty sad. Until then i had never been out of this village since moving here." she shrugged, as if it were no big deal.

"I think you'd really like the Land of Tea." she added. "It's more country land. You know, rice fields and horses. At least where i lived." she rubbed the back of her head. "Yeah, i'm little country girl."

[Kyokki Tenkiame]

"Four and a half years worth," Kyokki agreed, "And the Land of Tea sounds nce. Actually, I'm not a city or a country girl. I've never been very good with either-or type of situaions. Suburbs are more my thing. But the country's nice for vacations."

Kyokki laughed.

"I think I rode a horse once, with my dad. I was, what, two? But I don't remember it. I just have the photo lying around somewhere."

Haruka shrugged. "I'm not really one for subburb areas. I like wide open spaces and fresh air. That's just me, though." she said, "Everyone's entitled to there opinion. "

She looked over to her again, becoming very interested with some of Kyokki's experiances. "I only rode a horse once and awhile, seeing as i was so young the last time was even near one." she sighed. "And when i did it was with my mother or father... Kind of annoying when you want to rid on your own; you know, when your four and five, you want to do everything on your own." she laughed.

Kyokki nodded.

"My dad says ... said I was the same way," she paused for a moment, feeling a pang go through her "Like I said, I don't remember. Okay, no, wait. I remember the horse tried to eat my hair."

She looked at the brilliant sky again, longing slightly.

"I don't think I'd last long in the country."

Haruka bit down on her tongue as Kyokki suddenly changed from pretense to the past tense, suddenly realizing that her father had most likely pasted from this world. "Horses do have a tendancy to nibble at everything. " she replied, deciding to go off of her other comment. "And the country's not that bad. Really. When your a kid you just have a few morning chores. It's the adults that get all the big work." she nodded, remembering the many labors her father and mother had to do to keep their old rice feild going.

[Kyokki Tenkiame]

"I like being somewhere where it's not all hustle and bustle, but if you want to go somewhere special, the big city isn't all so far away. Not to mention , I have a brown thumb. Any thing I try to grow just dies on me..."

She thought for a minute, and then decided to see if she and Haruka had any friends in common. It would be a slim chance, since she had so few, but...

"Do you know Inukami?"

Haruka laughed. "I've never been great at growing things either." she said. "I know how it feels. I tried growing a garden in my backyard... the seeds never even sprouted." she sweatdropped, rubbing the back of her head sheepishly.

Her friends name was suddenly brought up and she stared at her in puzzlment. "Inukami? The little ball of energy that's completely boy crazed?" she asked, trying to comfirm identity. "Yeah i know her pretty well. I helped her get away from some jerks in town that were trying to rape her."

[Kyokki Tenkiame]

Kyokkis face grew worried.

"That's the one. Is Inu-chan okay?" she asked Haruka-san. Inu-chan knew about her and Amane's... predicament. Actually, their stories weren't very different in the former village regard. She had even met Inu-chan's daughter, Aiji. She hated to think anything might have happened to her.

She waited a tad anxiously for Haruka's response.

[Haruka Kunimitsu]

"She is ok; just as hyper as always, but..." Haruka looked at Kyokki confusedly. Why was it that she wanted to know if she was alright This was most likely something she was not imformed on. Inukami had never really told her much of her past or any of her problems, only that she had used to work in a circus, where at she was sexually assulted many times before she got away. "Why? What happened to her?" she asked her.
