kakuta sat aino up on his shoulders. he had intended for kyo to hear. great though that aino caught on and went along with the joke. kyo needed loosening up. he would leave that to aino. he was a bit up tight himself thats why he had aino around. he snickered and then said to aino "she burnt the toast." he was getting better at seeing how others used emotions and showed them so easily. he was going to continue to imitate emotions until he knew how to use them properly.
"so where are we going? i'm from out of town so i don't know the restaurants of the city." he bowed to kyo aino barely holding on to his neck. "will you be my guide for today?"

Kyo flushed. "Everyone burns toast sometimes, it's perfectly natural!," she insisted indignantly. She was a bit sensitive about her horrible cooking skills, and she didn't really appreciate being teased.
She smiled brightly. "Sure, I'll be your guide!," she said cheerfully. "Just don't get mad at me if we get lost." She considered that unlikely, though, she pretty much knew her way around the village pretty well, even though she had only been back for about a year. It was her younger brother that didn't have a sense of direction, and boy, was it annoying when she had to go and find him.

he put his arm around kyo. "i'm sorry i was just joking around." aino hugged her too. "yeah we where just jokin." kakuta shook his head trying to clear it of the calculations of how she would react. "so where are we going? what kind of food are we gonna be eating?" he looked around and then eyed kyo. "don't talk about getting lost. you might jinx us and we'll be stuck wandering the streets for all eternity." he smiled as he said that.

Kyo smiled as she was hugged. She could never stay sheepish for very long, her optimistic nature was too strong. She shrugged when she was asked about what kind of food. "I'm bad with desicions...," she said. "You guys choose, there's a lot of places around here." She didn't really have a taste for anything at the moment, she was just hungry.
She just rolled her eyes as Kakuta implied that she would get them all lost now. "I won't get you lost, don't worry," she said good-naturedly. "Anyways, someone'll find us and direct us back if we get lost, anyways!"

"i want Indian food right now. actually i want Thai food but i don't think there is a place for that here." aino piped in. "i wanna cheese burger!" kakuta looked at aino with his thoughts just plastered all over his face. it said boldly that she was beyond tactless. good thing the whole top half of his face was wrapped up.
ne then said "i'm not worried about you getting us lost. i'm just worried about getting lost at all. what if it's me that gets us lost? what if little aino here desides to chase some rats and we get lost trying to get her?" aino said indignantly in his ear interrupting him. "i don't chase rats. if it was a dragon i say then maybe."

Kyo laughed as Aino requested a cheeseburger. "Well, what the little one wants, the little one gets, right?," she said, reaching up to ruffle little Aino's hair. "I know a place that has really good burgers and fries. I could go for some delicously crispy fries right now, anyway."
"Getting lost is no fun," Kyo said, frowning. She had gotten lost in the woods when she was very little, during a trip to she and her sibling's special tree. "I chased after a butterfly and got lost in the woods when I was very little, around three years old. it was terrifying!"

kakuta muttered under his breath in a high pitch voice."what the little one wants the little one gets. she says." "she want's us to eat grease balls and die of clogged arteries is what she wants. yum i really want to get some crispy fries that have been soaking in oil all day."
Aino looked at kyo quizzically. "why would you want to chase a butterfly? was it golden? did it look like it might have really been a fairy?" aino was watching kyo with full attention. even though she was right next to kakuta's head she didn't hear him muttering, because he did it so low.

Kyo chuckled as she heard the faint sound of muttering. She couldn't understand what Kakuta was saying, but whatever
Kyo smiled at Aino as she questioned Kyo about the butterfly. "It was a bunch of pretty colors, like purple and white and mint," she started. "It moved very gracefully through the air, and it seemed to leave a little trail of shimmery, glittery dust behind it. I remember breathing in some and sneezing, and when I looked back up, the butterfly was gone." She smiled. "Maybe it was a fairy. I love fairies, or anything magical, really. It's all I read about, magical lands with fairies and dragons and magic!"

the smile was wiped off of aino's face in a second. "it was a normal butterfly? a dirty dusty one at that? who cares about normal stuff. when i grow up i'm gonna have super powers. like a ninja except way better. then your all gonna see my magic. i'll be famous all over the world for what i can do. i'll walk on water" kakuta mouthed "i can do that." she went on. "i'll make the blind see" kakuta mouthed again "personally invented that ability" aino finished "and i'll raise the dead!" kakuta looked at her like she was going just a bit far. then said "well if any one can do that it'll be you. though i think you shouldn't try to be jesus."

"Oh, it might have been a fairy, Aino!," Kyo said enthusiastically. "I just don't know for sure, and I was so young then that the memory is a bit blurry. I was about two, three at the most, and I can barely remember much behind four."
Kyo smiled as Aino went on about her ambitions. She looked down, still smiling. "I wanted to be magical when I was little," she said. "I still do, really. It would be cool to have a special ability or something. And, Aino, ninjas can walk on water. I'm pretty good at it, actually." Kyo smiled playfully at the little girl. "And when you grow up, you'll learn, too!"

aino stared at kyo like she was insane and stated frankly "if it was a fairy you'd know." she obviously thought that being young was no excuse. "i don't believe you can walk on water..." she paused for a moment wondering if she should say what was on her mind. "can you teach me?" kakuta immediately butted in. " i think we should get back to going to eat. i'm still on the thought of food. i would like to eat before teaching you things that people older then you can't do. can you understand that? you'll need your strength for this."

Kyo just agreed with the little girl, recognizing a stubborn edge in little Aino that Kyo herself had. "Alright, alright, it wasn't a fairy," Kyo said, defeated. 'Even though I really think it must have been, it was so graceful and pretty it couldn't have been a regular butterfly!,' she thought stubbornly.
Kyo's stomach growled at just the right time. "Yeah, let's keep food on the brain," she said, rubbing her hungry tummy. She looked surprised. "You want me to teach you?," she asked. She laughed nervously. "I'm not a good teacher, trust me.."

kakuta recognized the look on kyo's face. he said in a monotone voice "we are all the same in some ways. it's human nature you can't be the only one like you there are to many people for there to be only one you."
he heard her stomach growl. "yes it's good to stick to the subject some times." he walked past her and patted her stomach lightly. "lets get moving or else we're gonna be here all day. don't wanna get a fine for squatting." he stopped and turned back to her. "i'll help with teaching the girl she might be good for something."

Kyo blinked, then said, "Yeah, I know. But we're all unique and special in our own different ways, too!" She smiled after saying that.
Kyo ran ahead of Kakuta, then slowed to a walk, slightly ahead of him. She wanted, erm, had to lead the way.
She led her two companions to a slightly small, very nice-looking restaurant. She grinned as she came through the door, and the waitress greeted her by name. Kyo was a regular here, and most all the employees knew her by name, and vice versa. "Hey, Kyo!," she said. "Table number 7, as usual?" Kyo nodded, and followed her to the booth. She slid into one side, near the window. "The usual, Kria," Kyo said. Kria nodded. The waitress lingered, waiting for Kakuta and Aino to place their orders.

they followed kyo to this restaurant it was a small pleasant place. every one seemed to know kyo. "she must come to this place often" kakuta thought to himself. as they reached there table kakuta couldn't help but notice that it was the lightest and sunniest spot in the place. a place that expressed kyo he guessed.
aino jumped right to it. "i want a burger and some fries. but not the little kid kind i want the huge one. you know like the triple cheese burger with extra onions. i don't really like vegetables so only the onions on my burger. and i don't want the onions to be those ringy kinds i want them all diced up into a million pieces!"
kakuta turned his face up to the waitress and sniffed. he kept his "eyes" on her for a moment. "i'll have a salad."
