aino smiled and bit right into her ice cream. it was her first time eating the stuff. she didn't know better. she paused to swallow the ice cream and get over her brain freeze. then fallowed kyo's example and began licking it. kakuta on the other hand was mentally screaming out to kria."i love you. be my wife. i want your number!!!" but he was as stony faced as ever and displayed no emotions. he picked up his fork and ate the tiramisu savoring every bite.

Kyo bit into a chocolate chip and smiled. "The chocolate chips are like, the best part of the ice cream!," she said, giggling. She looked at Aino. "Don't inhale the poor ice cream, savor it!" Kyo took another couple licks of her ice cream, and loved the minty, chocolatey goodness. "Mmmm...," she murmered. "I certainly love my chocolate...."
Kyo then looked to Kakuta, licking her ice cream. "Liking your tiramisu?," she asked. Kria appeared back at the table. "How is everything, you guys?," she asked, smiling warmly and tucking a lock of her short strawberry blonde hair behind her ear.
Kyo smiled. "Great as always, Kira!," she said, smiling back, and then licking her ice cream some more.

aino agreed with kyo by nodding. she was to into her ice cream to properly answer.
kakuta had his spoon in his mouth when kyo asked her question. "hmm..." he tapped the spoon against his teeth. "yeah it's good i wish i hadn't forgotten how to make it."
as kria came back to the table kakuta mentally fell over and started foaming from the mouth. he smirked glad that know one knew what he was thinking. he bit the inside of his cheek so that the smile wouldn't get out of hand.
he could feel the blood rushing to his face and it heating up as kria asked how they where doing and tucked her hair behind her ear. he began to calm himself it wouldn't do for him to start blushing.
aino mumbled something behind her icecream. kakuta tapped her head. "remember? manners." that was all he could manage to say he was lost for words.
aino detatched herself from her beloved icecream. she looked up at kria with admiration. "how do i make this stuff? i wanna have it every day."
kakuta immediatly said "if you learn to make icecream your gonna have to share it with me."

Kyo took another couple licks, and bit into a couple more chocolate chips. Kria knew how she liked her ice cream, and put in a bit more chocolate chips than she usually did for other people.
Kria knew exactly what to say when Aino asked her about how to make the ice cream. "I use an ice cream maker, the manual kind. You just read the directions, put what you want in the right place, then stick it in the freezer. You have to crank it about every ten minutes, though." Kria smiled mischievously. "Although, I have my own special, secret method of freezing it quickly. But I'm afraid that that's a secret. Anyways, you can't have ice cream every day, it's bad for you to have it that much." Next she looked over at Kakuta.
"You want the recipe?," she asked. "I have a few recipe cards I wrote out, just in case someone wanted the recipes. I could run to the back and grab them, if you like."

aino repeated after kria. "an ice cream maker?" aino thought it was a magic item not a machine. "i wanna get one too!" she kept on listening though. "ohh you use special magic to freeze it! you can tell me i can keep a secret." she frowned when she was told she couldn't have it every day.
kakuta nodded "yes i'd like that very much." he almost didn't say it but he also continued. "could i also have your number?"
((just tried it today. it's so freakin hard to ask the hot waitress for her number.))

Kyo giggled cheerfully a bit, nearly finished with her ice cream. The sugary, cold sweetness had put her in a good mood. She bit into her cone, liking that Kria had remembered to chocolate dip her waffle cone, just the way she liked it.
Kria smiled, and winked at Kakuta before walking into the back to grab the recipe. She came back after a couple minutes, and set the small recipe card down in front of him, along with a small folded-up piece of paper. Kyo decided to be annoying.
She pointed at them, and whispered to Aino, "Look! Flirting!"

kakuta kept making crystal roses waiting for kria to come back. she finished 6 proper roses in the few minutes it took for her to get the recipe.
he picked up the card with the recipe on it and scanned it quickly. he was now wondering how he forgot to make the stuff in the first place. he heard kyo say "Look! Flirting!" he gave her a look that said "you call that flirting?" he rouse to the challange.
he picked the paper with kria's number on it and pressed it against the palm of his hand. a thin sheet of crystal formed in the shape of a card. he started to poke the crystal. he pulled it off of his hand and handed it to kria with the roses. the card had his number etched into it.

Kyo raised an eyebrow, then snickered. She found the whole flirting thing quite obnoxious and unnecessary. Especially when she was eating, not to mention normal circumstances. Kyo rolled her eyes as Kria blushed and took the roses. "Oh, come on, I'm eating here!," she complained.
Kria gave Kyo a look that said, 'Shut up and eat your ice cream and let us flirt all we want!' Then she smiled at Kakuta. "Thank you for the roses," she said. "They're really beautiful, and I love roses."
Kyo obediently licked her ice cream, pulling out a book. Rather than witnessing this, she opened her book and started reading.

kakuta chuckled at kyo's reactions. it was great he thought. "at least she's open about how this makes her feel." but just to tease her. he sprouted another rose from his hand and held it out to her and said. "you jealous?" he dropped it on the table for kyo to grab if she wanted. he turned to kria. "now they might be beautiful but they are nothing in comparison to you."
aino looked as if she was outside of the spot light for to long and wanted back in. "what about me i'm cute right?" she tried her best smile.

Kyo sniffed, then wrinkled her nose. She gently took the rose from him. 'Only because it's pretty...,' she thought. She scoffed as she did that. "Heh, why would I be jealous?," she said sharply. The remains of her ice cream was beginning to melt, so she bit into the chocolate-sipped part of the cone, crunching away.
Kria smiled at Kakuta, blushing deeper. "I suppose I should get back to my shift, before my boss tells me off," she said, though she clearly was reluctant to say that. She gave Kyo and Aino a grin, too, then walked into the back.
She snorted as Kakuta told Kria that she was more beautiful with the roses. She wasn't questioning Kria's looks, she was merely reffering to what Kakuta said. "Where'd you get those lines, medieval stories?," she muttered to herself. Then Kyo looked at Aino, smiling. "You're adorable, Aino," she said reassuringly. She smiled softly. 'Little kids are so cute...'

as kyo picked up the rose kakuta was smiling internally. kria had to go he understood that well enough. he whispered as she left. "until next time." he turned slowly to kyo. he let the silence settle in first. "yeah i did get them from medieval stories." he paused seeming to ponder. "now i only need a dragon to save her from." he grabbed aino and pulled her to him. "but who cares i've got you and your waaaay better looking then her." he looked down to see that his tiramisu was finished. he sighed. "i'll just get another one later." he stood up holding aino in his arms. "kyo we'll be leaving the village now. we'll come back through later. but that's gonna be a while away."

Kyo's eyes widened. "You guys are...Leaving?," she exclaimed, her voice squeaking. All traces of irritation were gone. Fighting the urge to demand why, she just thought, 'Oh, they have their reasons..' She smiled. "Oh, well," she said. "That's really sucky, I just met you guys!" But hopefully, she'd see them again sometime. "When you guys get back, you'll drop in for a visit, right?," she asked, hopeful. Pulling a small pen out of her pocket, she scrawled her address. "Come visit, if I'm not there, someone will be, I'm sure." Haru or Taru would be lazing around the house at any given time, she was sure.

"yeah we gotta go off to suna. we're gonna be back soon i think. it would be easier if we could go back through the rock country but thats not gonna happen. we'll be going through some interesting places." aino giggled. she pipped in. "to travel across the world and learn about great places." kakuta thought fondly of how he felt when on the road. like there was nothing holding him back. "yeah kyo we'll be back aino and i will come back for a visit. for sure we'll see you guys." he took the paper with the address and slipped it under his head band. he tapped the head band with his nail. "for safe keeping." he winked at her.

Kyo smiled slightly. "Well, you guys have a lot of fun," she said cheerily. Nothing could keep Kyo down for very long. "And I'll see you when you get back, right?," she asked hopefully. She stood up, stretching her legs. She tapped her fingers on the table a bit mrore, tapping out the melody to the song that was playing through her head at the time."C'mere, Aino, and give me a hug," she said, grinning and holding out her arms. 'Well,' she thought. 'I made two new friends today, which is a good thing. That's a never-ending goal for me.'

aino got down out of kakuta's arms and hugged aino tightly. "i'm gonna miss you. you bought me alot of food." kakuta hugged them both. "we'll have lots of fun. i'd invite you along but you have a life. you'll be waiting for us when we get back right? so we can meet up again."
